A GREAT SOUP=A GREAT MEAL!
This can of soup is a starter, & since we all have our preferences the thing to do, is to add to it what you like!Their line of products, even have inspirational recipes, & suggestions that a cook at home read & follow if they do choose! In my case, I added some white cooked rice, & some can black beans.I’m looking for a hearty soup! What the French call: A Potage!Or my Spanish Grandfather would call: Un Buen Potaje! He would say to me as a very young girl, that: “A Potaje was a meal on a plate!” He liked to add, fresh bread with butter to his meal.In my case, I prefer a small avocado sliced, & plantain chips! The Cold months are fast approaching, therefore keep in mind that a HOT delicious soup, should be a regular part of your daily intake!&:… ENJOY! + Good Health for all!

Surprisingly Good - chicken quality is better than most canned soup
Delicious- I’m an insanely picky eater and this is very good. I love that the quality of the chicken pieces seems to be of way better quality than that of Progresso or Campbells. My only complaint is that it needs at least 2-3x more chicken (I would pay another $1-$2 for it) without the quality suffering and the sodium is too high. Otherwise, this is a great low calorie soup and I’m a fan. For those who don’t like spice, it’s not overly spicy. The jalapeño chicken noodle soup has much more heat and I wasn’t a fan of it at all.

Hard to find!
I sent these to my mom. She's not a big canned soup fan, but she said she LOVED these and she could not find them where she lives. So I sent them to her, because that's what daughters do, lol. She says these are fantastic and don't taste like a canned soup. She highly recommends them!

Flavored Broth
I hate giving bad reviews, but I was totally disappointed with Old El Paso Chicken Tortilla Soup. When I emptied the product into a saucepan, I saw very little other than the broth. I stirred, then tasted, and even the broth had little flavor other than a small tingle of heat. I did recognize THREE tiny pieces of meat, and a few slices of red vegetables, either tomato or red bell pepper, then a few kernels of corn appeared. There was much less of substance than even a can of condensed soup! And, no, I did not add water. I never did see any tortilla pieces! Soooo....I opened a can of chili and added it to the "soup." Not bad if you don't mind thinned out chili, with crackers and no tortillas. HA!
