The best option available for incontinence
I used Pet Parents' belly bands for my old man dog, and they worked like a charm. My new old lady dog was diagnosed with diabetes insipidus, so she suddenly started peeing LARGE volumes of pee at night in her sleep. For reference, she is a 12lb fluffy white pup, 14" waist.Initially, I tried out another brand that was almost identical to this design, but I ordered the medium since everyone said they ran small (I imagine the sizing is comparable to this brand). The medium waist was JUST right at the absolute tightest it could be, and it ended up being a little too big. I ordered the Pet Parents one in a smaller, and the fit is MUCH better. It's nice and snug with the velcro at the loosest setting, with room to adjust tighter if needed. I will say that BOTH brands have the same design flaw: the elastic around the leg is too loose and doesn't make a seal, which leaves room for leakage. If she was still needing diapers now (medicine is helping a lot), I'd probably try to figure out a way to sew them a little shorter, but it's too much of a hassle for me to care right now. My work around the leakage was to also buy some reusable puppy pads to lay on her bed and my couch where she likes to sleep so they can catch whatever leaks out. It worked for the most part, though it gets kind of tiresome. The two brands were both very similar in material and design, but I will say one huge difference: the other brand's outer layer was NOT leak proof; if she saturated the diaper, the outside would be damp by the morning. Even though the Pet Parents diapers leaked, the outer layer of fabric was always still dry, so I know they leaked out the sides of the legs rather than through the diaper itself. Also, the tail hole on this Pet Parents brand is a little snugger than the other brand, which I liked. One negative: the absorbent pad part is just a little smaller than I would like for it to be. I would have liked it to extend all the way to the edges of the legs where the elastic is. Instead, you can see in the photo where the stitched rectangle is, and that's essentially where the absorbent pad ends. That leaves about a 1/2 inch of material where the urine can leak through. I will say, though, this seems to be how ALL of the comparable products are (I researched a lot), and I'm not sure there is any better of an option out there. So... this one still seems to be the best option out of what is available. As long as your pup isn't completely oversaturating it with a disproportionate amount of urine (courtesy of diabetes insipidus) like my little one was, it should be sufficiently absorbent. What I have found to work for cleanup: I rinse the diaper in the sink with hot water, then soak it in a bucket of vinegar and water (roughly 1 part vinegar, 2-3 part water... although I just eyeball it) for a while. I usually try to wait until I have 4-5 dirty ones to wash them in my washer/dryer, so I just let them stay soaking in the vinegar until it's time to wash. That helps to eliminate any yucky urine odor (although you do smell vinegar, haha). Then I wash them per the instructions they come with. This has worked well, and I haven't noticed any degradation of the product at all.Overall, I love the quality of the material and construction on these diapers, and if your pup is needing diapers, just do yourself a favor and just buy these now. It's not worth the hassle of trialing other products since this one works the best out of them all, in my experience.

Fashion, Function & Quality
These dog diapers are the cutest! They are not just stylish, but they move with my dog & are comfortable too. Super easy to put on & take off. My little fur baby had surgery, hence the t-shirt, but the medication for healing has given her anal leakage. These diapers are absorbent & keep all the icky stuff in the diaper. And they are easy to clean! Love these PetParent Diapers ❤️

Work well & wash well, but tail hole is a bit small.
All of our prior dogs were adopted as spayed/neutered adults, so we'd never had to go through the messiness of having a dog in heat. We ordered this set of doggie diapers because the ones we borrowed from a friend worked well and were of the same brand. We bought the Large size for our 60-pound female Shepherd because our friend's Mediums seemed a bit too small. Ours fit well around the hips and don't slip down, we can get them off her quickly due to the Velcro straps, and she's not able to wiggle out of them. The tail hole is elasticized, but I do wish it had a bigger diameter to facilitate putting the diapers on. We've washed them several times (I pre-treat the blood stains) and they come clean well.

Size large for Standard Poodle GREAT! Size small and medium for terroir, NOT-GOOD.
We have an elderly Standard Poodle, 13 years old, who was easily potty trained as a pup. Now that she is an old lady she is becoming somewhat incontinent with urine. She often dribbles on her way to go outside and wets her bed when sleeping. She seems so horribly ashamed when she wakes up with her bed wet or dribbles. These dog-diapers work very well for a female dog. We do not use them for heat cycles as our female was spayed young. I would imagine they would also work well for heat cycles though. Theses panties are very absorbent and we have not seen any leakage. Our poodle has not had any problems with chafing or sores. I hand rinse in cool water to remove most of the urine, close the Velcro tabs, and just add to the washing machine with similar laundry. Machine dry too. They are holding up very well. My dog is much happier now that her bed isn’t wet. She doesn’t mind at all when putting on he panties as soon as she comes inside. She never tries to remove them either. That’s a great review for size large for our Standard Poodle. We bought size small for a crossbred female. We don’t know her breed(s). She has a thin, short hair coat and no under coat at all. She cat tolerate the cold at all. We do not know her actual age. We rescued her off a cliff ten years ago. She is getting a bit gray about her muzzle, so will call her a senior dog. She was spayed right after we found her. In the last year she has started peeing on the carpet in several areas around the house. I used the size chart to measure her for the diapers. Medium is a better waist size, but she is so small in length. The smalls were too small. They would fit around her waist, but ended up causing an abrasion or pressure sore in front of her legs. We then got size medium. They fit her waist with both Velcro tabs touching. But…. The length just will not fit . The diaper sags and hangs way down her tail. The smalls, even with the extended tabs, still give her sores in front of he legs. There is no small 1/2, nor a shorter medium. Thus, for this 16 pound terrier type crossbreed dog with a thin hair coat this diaper isn’t working well. She does try to remove the small, probably because it was hurting her. She doesn’t mess with the medium but it fits very poorly.
