Great for finding the strongest signal

Version 4 (v4) appears the same as version V2 but the latest model has incorporated a built in signal finder. It is very simple to use. A nice surprise is the built in finder so far seems to actually work. I think it’s worth the small increase in price to buy the updated V4 model..

Bought this for a boat that was struggling to recieve any tv despite others around with mast the same height getting good signals.We use 12v power supply.However, after spending some considerable time fault finding it is down to the type of cable supplied with the antenna. It is multi-core not single coax. After, soldering the multi core to give a single core, connection and signal is much improved. And the wife is happy. - always a bonus.Changing the cable is not so easy without taking the mast down otherwise I would have done so.Lesson learned: the connectors work best with single core coax. Further I won't buy cable from the same supplier next time without double checking what they intend to send.

This amplifier has a very useful integral signal strength indicator LED that changes colour from red, amber to green, with various shades in between, according to whether the aerial is pointing towards an appropriate transmitter.Removes a lot of the, sometimes infuriating, guesswork when trying to position an aerial for best TV reception particularly in poor reception areas.

We got this for our caravan as it didn't have one installed, installing this was very easy and it works very well, we have used this in forest parks and gotten great signal, also has an led indicator which goes green when you have the aireal pointed the right direction which is a massive help

I'd been having increasing problems in getting a decent picture on my motorhome TV, and tried all sorts of tricks and swaps back at home, always hampered by being in a pretty poor reception area. Hoping that a new amplifier might help I sent for this one and - bingo! From zero stations I can now get more than 100 even at home, and expect things to be much better in stronger signal areas while away. Easy to fit and with immediate results this was a case of going from no picture to perfect picture at the flick of a switch. It's also taken the place of my previous signal finder, which is another bonus.

Made finding best signal really easy

It was good while it worked, only had it seven months and it's stopped working luckily I still have my original status signal booster. I'll give it three stars for the built-in signal strength indicator nothing else.
