Good zipper

Fabulous product! I make bags and wallets, and this zipper tape is terrific - has a metal look, but you can cut it with scissors and sew right through it, because it's nylon coil. Very attractive and you can use other #5 pulls/sliders on this tape, if you want to. I have pulls from two different companies which fit just fine and coordinate with the pulls included in this package.These pulls are pretty and substantial and if you are used to working with zippers like this, they go right on with no fuss at all. The only drawback is that there aren't enough pulls included for this length of zipper. I hope the seller will list them available as bulk purchase items. This antique bronze is hard to find.I can't wait until this item is back in stock - this is a wonderful zipper and at an affordable price.

I love the look and quality of these zippers. I use them to make makeup bags and I think they will hold up well with repetitive use. I would recommend and repurchase.

I have used this zipper and pulls on a number of projects and been extremely satisfied. The pulls were plentiful and easy to work with. Plus, it came in antique brass. So hard to find that color.

I've been doing leathercraft small goods and decided to take the plunge into adding zippers with my first zip cross-body bag (pictured.) I had black strip zipper, but saw this and liked the color better. I also like the shape of the pulls. Easy to cut to size, you get plenty of it and a number of pulls. As far as installation, it's as easy as adding a zipper to leather can be. No issues with shredding edges or teeth pulling out.

This is a really attractive zipper and a good value for the price. I find that getting the zipper pulls on is tricky and can be frustrating. The fabric part tends to start to fray when you try to install the pull, which makes it more difficult. Next time I am going to try putting some seam sealer on the ends of the zipper tape before trying to slide on the pull. I love that I can make any length zipper, and 2 way zippers with these zippers by the yard. I also love that the zippers look metallic but are not actually metal, so they slide nicely and sew like a dream (no broken needles, yay!). I use these to make handbags and totes, and so far they’ve held up wonderfully. The bag in the photo was made from the Begonia Backpack pattern from Blue Calla.

Nice quality zippers and they look great sewn into the bags I’m making. The price is very reasonable too. Time will tell if they hold up well after a lot of use. The metal pulls are really cute and easy to install. I like the variety of metal color options but wish there were more color choices for the zipper tapes. So far I have bought all 4 of the neutral colored zipper tapes (and would order more if there were more colors available).
