Excellent!
Works better than I expected! The teeth slip right behind cable ties and tie strings without damaging the wires or insulation. Also has a nice set of blades that are perfect for trimming small wires. A nice addition to an electrical tool box.

Overly priced but essential tool
These zip tie cutters are a bit on the pricier side considering how much there is to them. But if you remove or install zip ties any more than a little you will never want to be without them. They are well made of good materials, fit comfortably in the hand, don't take much space or weigh more than they need to. But they are perfect for cutting off zip tie ends and no tool I have ever found is even close to as good for removing old or tight zip ties. The 'secret' is the hook ends on the cutting blades. They are perfectly designed to help you get the cutting edge right where you need it without cutting things like bothersome wires. If there is a weakness to these it is that I have almost wrecked two pair because I end up trying to cut things with it I know I shouldn't. If you restrict your use to zip ties and other plastic I think they would last forever. I get lazy and start cutting light wire, and then heavier wire and then they're messed up and I HAVE to buy a new pair because they're so essential.I'm just surprised someone isn't knocking them off for $10.

Like Grant through Richmond....
These are fantastic at their role because of the bird beak shape of the cutting edge. They accel at slicing away wire harness looms/ties/tape. and general demo automotive parting-out vehicles

Great quality tool
This a a great tool for cutting and trimming zip ties. You can use it for cutting other things, but it’s perfect for clean cuts on zip tie tag ends and for cutting off old zip ties (without damaging wire).

Do not hesitate to buy !!! Worth it !!!
Cut through zip ties like butter! Comfortable and easy to use. Worth the price. I had about a hundred zip ties securing plastic chicken wire around my iron fence to prevent my puppy from slipping through the spaces and dreaded taking it back down because I didn’t have a tool that would be comfortable and wouldn’t scratch up the fencing. These worked like a charm ... no damage or scratches to fencing !!

Hook is good, but blades seperate while cutting sometimes
Industrial technician. I cut zip ties a lot in hard to reach places and this tool is nice overall, but the blades flex away from each other and will not shear sometimes.

Sharp and perfect for cutting zip ties.
I'm in love with these snippers! I have tried a bunch over the years, including Craftsman, but they always dull quickly when cutting zip ties, and depending on the angle, don't cut the ties at all. I do an extravagant light display every Christmas, and use tons of zip ties for putting together my yard decorations. I used the heck out of these snippers, and they worked easily every single time. I also loved the lips on the tips so I didn't have to worry about cutting through any light strands when cutting off old zip ties. I definitely, definitely recommend these and will probably get more just in case my husband decides he likes these better than his fancy ones!

Well worth the money
This cable tie cutter is terrific. No matter how tight the tie or what position it is in the tool makes it easy to remove without damaging anything around the tie. I use zip ties to hold down tarps and cables. The ties are rated to hold at least 100 pounds each and this tool removes them with ease. Well worth the money in reduced stress and frustration.
