This Splitter Mirrors Programmes From Sky Q Mini Box To Two TVs
I have tried other splitters. This one works! I have six TVs in my home and have the maximum four Sky Q mini boxes plus the main box, giving me Sky Q on five of them. The TV that had no Sky is on an office stud wall with a bedroom TV adjacent to it on the other side (The bedroom TV has Sky with its mini box on the other side of the wall on a desk in the office). The important feature of the EZCOO 4K HDMI splitter is that it has two scaler switches that enables non 4K TVs to view Sky TV. The Resolution of my TVs are 720P and 1080P so I switched both scalers down and left the EDID setting on 4K7.1. Everything works fine! The splitter is sited under my office desk out of view. It's a pity that only one Sky Q remote can work with each mini box, so the office just shares the remote with the bedroom.

Perfect when you need to send 4k to one TV and 1080p to another
Been running this for the last month and it's been flawless so far. I put an old 1080p TV in my kitchen but my main TV is 4k so wanted to be able to downsample the 4k signal from the firestick to the 1080p TV but still maintain 4k on the main one. Work great and haven't needed to restart it once. Only thing it can't do is dowbmix uncompressed audio to stereo (which I didn't expect it to) as I run uncompressed down to the TV then out to my cinema amp, the old TV isn't capable of understanding uncompressed sound so I just get static. To work around that I just ran speaker cable from my centre channel to a small speaker in the kitchen which works great.Couldn't get it to work with my laptop no matter which resolution I tried, although maybe I should try 30hz and 50hz as laptop was probably sending 60hz when it tried to test

Could not get uncompressed audio to work
I recently upgraded to a new 4K TV after my old 1080p one stopped working. Initially, I had my PC connected to my AV amplifier via HDMI, and then from the amplifier to the TV. This setup worked flawlessly, allowing all audio streams, including True Dolby HD and DTS HD Master. However, when I attempted to output 4K content from my PC, the AV amp didn’t cooperate because it was only HDMI 1.4 compliant. As a result, there was no picture displayed, as the amp wouldn’t pass it to the TV. To address this, I purchased the HDMI Splitter 4K 60Hz. This device successfully split the video signal, sending video to the TV and audio to the amp. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t transmit uncompressed audio formats like DTS HD Master or True Dolby HD.Despite trying various combinations of the two dip switches, I couldn’t get uncompressed audio to work. Ultimately, I decided to return the unit. It seems I might need a new AV amplifier. On a positive note, I did manage to pass through audio from my TV to the optical output, although it’s still compressed due to the limitations of the optical lead.

Finally A Splitter That Bypasses HDCP On PS3 (Mclassic, Retrotink etc.)
After trying so many splitters it is great to finally find one that does the job properly! For anyone looking for the same solution as me, this does bypass / strip the HDCP of a PS3 / Playstation 3 console. I am using a Mclassic upscaler device with it and also an EDID emulator in order to get the Mclassic to output 1440p resolution to my OLED TV. So anyone looking for a splitter for the same reason as me then rest assured this does in fact work and gets the Mclassic to output 1440p on the PS3 So I have the splitter plugged into the PS3, then the Mclassic plugged into the output of my HDMI switch, then the EDID emulator plugged into the back of the Mclassic and finally a HDMI cable from the back of the EDID emulator plugged into the TV. This way I can have all my old games consoles like PS3, Xbox 360, PS2 and even Switch console all sharing one HDMI switcher, one Mclassic upscaler and one EDID emulator so all I have to do is turn one of the consoles on, change the HDMI switcher to the console I want to use and then bingo it is upscaled on my OLED!

Brilliant to get a bit more life out of a HDMI 1.4 receiver
I bought this as I was struggling to get a solution to make my Apple TV output 4k60 with an Arcam AVR450 that at max supports 4k30, while retaining full uncompressed 7.1 surround. This product is great - I can output at 4k60 out of one output to my TV, and downsample the other output to 1080p60. This means I can deliver the 1080p signal to my receiver and get full uncompressed 7.1 audio - which is brilliant. I know the real solution would be to upgrade to a newer Arcam like the AVR21 and a full Atmos setup, but I'd like to get a bit more life out of my AVR450 while I'm dealing with a house refurbishment. Ace bit of kit - really happy with it - 5 stars from me!

Instructions are completely inadequate
I purchased the splitter to downscale my 4k firestick to my 1080p AV amplifier input. The first unit I received was returned as one of the video colours was completely missing. I then ordered a new unit which arrived next day. When I set up the new splitter for downscaling, I found the picture lacked brightness and contrast. I then set the Firestick to 1080p and moved the EID switch to 2k with no change. When I switched the EID switch to COPY1 it worked perfectly. I then changed the Firestich back to 4k and now its all workig fine in the HDMI output, down scaling and EID switch to COPY1. Unfortunatley, getting it working was trial and error as the instructions are entirely inadequete and wasted a lot of my time. Had I not persevered then this unit would also have been finding its way back to Amazon. For this reason I would mark it down and hope that these comments prompt the manufacturer to provide more information and FAQ's and of course, help others with the same issues. To be fair, once the unit is working it is a lovely piece of kit for its size, quality and price.

Reliable with good build quality
Works perfectly, splitting NVidia Shield 4k input out to TV and a USB capture card (that feeds into HyperHDR for ambilight LED control). Very pleased with it.
