Kuretake Zig Memory System Calligraphy Markers, Multicolor, 8-Pack

I love these calligraphy markers! I bought a small pack of 4 colors several years ago and finally needed to replace them. When I saw this larger pack with all different colors, I knew I had to have them! They are great quality, always write sharp, easy to use, and maintain their brilliant colors! I love that they have a thick point and a thin, it makes it so easy to be creative in all kinds of ways :-) They last a really long time too.

These are great calligraphy markers. All the markers worked perfectly so the product was fresh. I love the double-ended feature. One end is BOLD but not too bold. The other end is much narrower but is the perfect size to write letters, address envelopes, invitations, etc. A nice assortment of 8 colors ----- one has sort of a sepia tone, which I think would give a nice Victorian look to your writing ---- but the yellow is hard to see & is useless on white paper. I think with proper care, these will last a long time so I wouldn't give them to a young child. Very nice! I recommend them.

I love these markers, Im very satisfied with their quality and color. It is my first time purchasing the 8 set, and I was concerned about them arriving dry, they were not! I first found this brand of markers at Hobby Lobby (They don't sell them anymore, I haven't been able to find them) so I came searching for them here. They arrived 4 days before expected date, they write beautiful. I am very pleased with my purchase and I would buy again. Happy writing!

Overall, I like these pens very much. The colors are beautiful and they do not bleed through my moleskin notebook pages. It's very easy to create fabulous calligraphic lettering with them, as long as you hold them correctly. The packaging does state that they need to be stored horizontally to keep the ends equally moist. Perhaps that explains why some reviewers have complained about either the large ends or small ends of the pens drying out. Might they be storing them vertically?Speaking of packaging, it is the reason I'm not giving these five stars. As of 2/19/16, the packaging on the product received is different than what is pictured. The image on the site says they are waterproof, but the package I received does NOT state they are waterproof and indeed, when I tested the pens, they do smear somewhat. They are blendable, as the package I received says. Waterproofing isn't a huge deal though I do wonder how well they hold up when subjected to USPS handling. I'm going to head to the web and look for a waterproof spray...

I have been using this type of calligraphy marker for many years. This brand surpasses the many others I have tried. Beautiful lettering, doesn't smear. Hand doesn't get fatigued. I just finished addressing wedding invites, place cards and other items and the pens held up great and I am very pleased with the results!

Nice, stiff, sharp nibs for a marker. The colors are true and bright. One good, smooth, heavy paper you shouldn’t have issues with bleeding, ghosting or feathering. These will be good for practice as well as creative journaling. I can’t remember nib sizes any more, but the small end will let you letter on college-ruled paper (depending on the alphabet you choose) and the broad nib is about 3x bigger.

These are nice markers for those beginning calligraphy or wishing to practise new hands or colors. The double nib may appeal to some - the 5mm is okay but I havent seen the value of a 2mm fibre nib. The colors are lovely. Very attractive shades.I've used these for a few days now and I'm pleased with the ink flow on various media - which is largely the point of a calligraphy marker - it can write on surfaces that metal nibs can't. But i dont expect the nib to hold its shape for very long. Let's see.

These are the best markers. They glide on the paper and you have two sizes to choose from.Great for learning Calligraphy since you don’t have to mess with nibs and paint.
