Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!
Before this I had one large 10 foot and four regular size umbrellas shading my pool area and it didn’t really work and it was a maintenance nightmare. They always kept breaking. I had to move them all when there was a storm put them up put them down. All the while my wife was yelling at me to get sunshades finally looked at cooler roos and I said that’s not so bad I can put that up. And if there is a storm is only four hooks and they come right down. There are a godsend it’s been a year now. I can’t believe they’re haven’t faded in the Florida sun. They look fabulous and they do an unbelievable great job. cheaper than all those umbrellas. super high-quality.

Better quality than competitors
I recently purchased this shade sail for a new deck I built in my backyard- but I have owned 2 of them from Coolaroo that I purchased around 6-8 years ago, so I can speak to the durability of the product. For this purchase (Premium 16'5"x9'11" Rectangle Shade Sail Kit), I originally ordered another brand with slightly better sizing options, but as soon as it arrived I returned it (the other brand) due to obvious lower quality and ordered the Kookaroo shade sail reviewed here. The hardware kit is well made, useful, and appears durable. My only wish for this brand is that they had a few more sizes in the rectangular shape, although the one I have is fine. Also, I got the "Stone" color which is a lighter color; one thing to consider is that although shade sails do a good job blocking sunlight, they also can generate some heat and darker colors will be much warmer to sit underneath if it is at a low height. In general you might want to order a larger shade sail than the dimensions of the space you are shading due to movement of the sun. Pictures are of the rectangular 16'5"x 9'11" sail and hardware installed in June 2024.Note: the temporary pole in the picture is a PVC schedule 40 electrical conduit which provides height but you will need a heavier duty (aluminum or steel) pole if your installation requires raising one or more corners.

A perfect replacement for a worn-out Coolaroo shade sail is another Coolaroo!
This shade sail is sold at a great price point. It's quality-made and comes with everything you might need. The ratcheting strap they enclosed needed to be longer for our installation, but I reverted to my trusty Come-Along Winch that I've been using for years. A 4-point attachment sail needs a lot of pulling power to get the sail corners close enough to the anchoring points such that the two turnbuckles can complete the tensioning process. The come-along does the trick.I definitely recommend this product if you are looking for a rugged, lasting shade sail.

And they are fairly ez to install...though it is advise able to have some assist....especially if you are hanging from a higher position and using a ladder... They last as well. I have a few around my patio and am very satisied

Great quality shade sail
We purchased a competitive brand of shade sail and it arrived with a hole in it so we returned it. We decided to go with Coolaroo because the quality of the damaged one we returned was noticeably cheaply made. The difference in this Coolaroo is very noticeable, thick fabric, double stitching, and heavier. Update: Almost 4 months later in daily temps of 100 -119 degrees it's still holding up well and survived our first monsoon storm of the season. Spend the extra money, it's worth it. Added photos

Great for our back yard shade
The media could not be loaded. I'd say it blocks about 90% of the sun:)
