it was easy to assemble
After I got over my 'brain fart' with the instructions, it was easy to assemble. Love it. Although I did contact Rising with a question about assembly (which I actually didn't need to ask, just needed to think a little bit). But anyhow, they were very quick about responding. Would buy from them again. Great product.

Surprising quality for a good price!
I'm not exactly sure why the reviews for this server enclosure are so mixed. I think it's a great enclosure for the price. Although, there was some apprehension on whether I'd get a glass front or mesh front because signals were mixed, and it was crucial for my application, but I got glass so good there!Let me just say, I purchased another brand from another seller, and that packaging was horrible while the product wasn't accurate AT ALL to the listing. Infuriated, I had to return it.However, this was a completely different experience. The description was well written and accurate to what the product is (except for the glass/mesh uncertainty). You can trust the numbers in the description of this product which is actually surprising to find after I had shopped for days. The Raising Electronics case was packaged WAY better than my previous purchase. Seriously, it was like night and day. The box had heavy-duty cardboard corner reinforcement to keep from being crushed, and every piece was nicely Tetris-ed into a safe position within. There was not a single scratch, gouge or dent on any pieces. I was extremely impressed. Now, I'm not using this as an actual server rack. I'm using it as a 3D printer enclosure, and it's perfect for this, but that means I can't speak to the areas of wall mounting or rack mounting equipment. However, the assembly was about as simple as it can get, and I have no idea how anyone could struggle with it unless they have a complete lack of basic structural comprehension, or they use an electric screwdriver with the torque maxed out, mindlessly over-drilling screws into place. This enclosure is solid after construction, as I've moved it (while empty) on and off my workbench for various reasons. I've mounted the bottom to a 20" heavy-duty lazy susan for 360 desktop rotation to get to all sides of my 3D printer when using side-door access. Which is another awesome note with this enclosure. Many of the less expensive enclosures I analyzed might have had small side doors with latches if you were lucky, but they completely had to be removed for side access. This enclosure has spring-tension hinges that just pop into place for the large-sized doors, and then swing freely when you unlatch them. It's hard to convey how convenient and pleasing this is for me, as someone that will need to be accessing the sides of my printer regularly.Overall, I'm very happy with this product for my uses. I'll consider using Raising Electronic accessories for finishing out different things I need as I continue with assembling my 3D printer in the enclosure.

That Sucked to put togather
glad i had my screw gun. felt very uneasy putting this together. felt like every screw was re-threading the cabinet pieces. worked up a sweat just getting the screws in. none of the screw bags were labeled so i couldn't figure out the difference with a few of them. Overall looks like it will work but struggling to put it together will make me not buy it again.

Overall, great cabinet, take it from me, I'm around these all the time.
Okay... Honestly, what can I say? I specifically needed closed rack under 24in wide. This was it. I called the manufacturer and they checked for me.I knew assembly was required, I wasn't too concerned but I admit, mounting the rollers was the biggest PITA as the paint covers the thread effectively having you rethread the paint (yes, it's exhausting, as you want to go slow to not strip the screws or cabinet.Having already understood I'd have no rear panel to open, you just figure out the best plan of attack when it comes to cable Management. My biggest disapointment is not getting 18u+

Terrible packaging, can't use it.
I received 7 panels, a lock, and nothing else. No rails, no instructions, no screws. Kinds useless now. Very poor packaging, somehow nothing was scratched, can't send it back since the box was destroyed!

It's good!
Perfect for storing network equipment, raspberry pi, and other smaller devices. I picked up a vertical mount and attached it to the back to mount a Dell power edge and this box is the perfect height for that. All and all I've been happy with how it went together, how sturdy it is, and how easy it is to access thighs from the front and sides.

Scratched up.
The cabinet went together easy enough. Instructions could have been better. But the cabinet showed up with scratched pieces.

Some assembly required, but worth every penny
Unit does not come assembled. However, from the time I opened the box to full assembly was less than 30 minutes. The build quality is equal to a $1000+ cabinet. Casters are solid, as is the framing. Beautiful cabinet with ability to mount on the wall or on casters.
