Parent Unit for Video Baby Monitor V24US

We purchased this standalone parent unit to replace an older model that had finally stopped working after several years of use (the cameras still worked great, so only needed a new monitor unit). It turns out the new unit has a different power cord than the old one (round plug-in on new unit vs. micro USB plug-in on old unit). We had previously purchased an extra power cord for the old unit so we could recharge the parent unit both upstairs and downstairs in our house without moving the cord around, but since the old cords no longer worked with the new unit, we were stuck with just one cord now. I emailed the company's customer support asking if we could buy another cord, and within just a couple of hours I received a reply. They hadn't yet made the new cord available for individual sale but they would be delighted to send us an additional cord *free of charge*. This company is a joy to work with. Great products and exceptional customer service!

Alright, are there better monitors out there from a capability perspective? I’m sure but at what cost. How much more do you need than to simply hear and be able to see you child/children? I found this to be the perfect platform to not only add cameras but their customer service is truly amazing. And I’m not just saying that. I’ve had two of the parent units go out within 6 months of each other. The first was due to wear on the power plug connection. They replaced it with an upgraded version no problem. Let me note that is to no fault of theirs. We literally use our monitor all the time. But they were happy I replace the unit. Now unit may have been a bit of a fluke. But once again, no questions asked, they were happy to take care of escapes in quality. As a consumer I appreciate that. And for where they’re competing in the baby monitor market, I feel like they’re the best. Trust me. We’ve been through probably 5 other brands through all of our children.

I have never written a review before, but I wanted to let everyone about the wonderful customer service I received. I ordered our Babysense monitor after buying a more expensive one that after some research I foud had a lot of issues. Our Babysense monitor is perfect. The range, the clarity...we love it! A few days ago I went to turn on my parent monitor and the screen was pixilated so I could only hear. I called Babysense and went through a couple of steps to determine if it could be fixed and when it could not a new one was sent out immediately at no cost to me. I am so impressed. I have told all my new mom and expecting mom friends not to buy the more expensive video monitors! I've liked how well this camera system works- it maintains strong connection and the battery life is good. The picture is clear whether there's natural sunlight or you're using the night vision.My only issue- I've had the system for less that 4 years and I'm currently buying my 2nd parent unit. The unit just dies out after a year or 2 of use.

I have been using several babysense products for the last few years. Their monitors are super easy to use and the plugs all work on the different cameras and monitors which makes it really easy to upgrade or add more cameras. The customer service is fantastic and the breathing monitor helps me sleep at night knowing there is something helping me watch over the baby.

I’ve had a handful of these monitors over the last 2 years and they have been great! They are easy to setup and use, and the night vision and eco modes are essential. Unfortunately my daughter kept knocking over the monitors causing them to no longer charge. A quick phone call to Dick Anderson at BabySense resolved our issue; he sent us two replacement monitors for the ones that no longer held their charges (damaged port) free of charge. GREAT customer service and now I don’t have to continuously keep the monitors plugged in to function :) I always recommend these monitors to new parents!

I love this device and the peace of mind it gives with monitoring my child.I did have an issue with power button breaking and I was no longer able to turn the device on/off. Thankfully, the device was still under manufacturer warranty and the company replaced the monitor for free. The customer service team made the process so easy. I was dreading calling them to replace because I felt like it might be a challenge, but it was so extremely easy. I was off of the phone in less than 3 minutes and the device was shipped out the next day.Great company! Great customer service!
