XBOOM Mini Portable Capsule Speaker with Rechargeable Battery and Enhanced Bass+ Resonator - Purple

I like this little speaker a lot. I got it to go with my first MP3 player, which I'm still happily using. The speaker doesn't have an indicator to show the amount of charge left but I just charge it at the same time I charge my MP3 player. I am a bass player so I really enjoy the fact that I can hear the bass lines in the music I listen to on this speaker.I love the fact that this speaker collapses into a smaller size, so I can pack it with my MP3 player and all the cords etc. into a small camera bag for travel. I also like the blue light that shines while it is turned on. It reminds me to turn it off when I'm done using it, to save the charge.I use this speaker to listen to my MP3 player while driving, or as I move about the house. It is very lightweight and portable. It seems a little fragile but I am careful with it and it is serving me well. A nice feature is that you can connect this to others like it for home use and more sound. I haven't tried that. Very nice product for the price.

These speakers work wonderfully well. I purchased 2 in order to get a more 'rounder sound'. The only complaint I have (which should be an easy fit for the company), is to make the cords a little longer. I use these speakers with my Iphone at night when I love to play music all night as I sleep. Because of the length (or non-length) of the cord, you have to keep the Iphone right next to the speakers. This item would give 5 stars from me if the cords could be made just a little longer. But you can't go wrong with the sound that comes out of the speakers. Excellent bass, excellent sound, excellent speakers! And they are so small that you can pack them up and take them anywhere!

It worked for a while and then I had trouble charging it. I have trouble with the little bitty USB cord fitting in it right and it became just, oh I guess, a regretful purchase for me.

I like the speaker, it is small and produces a louder sound than the computer. But when I went to charge it, the charger wire does not charge. I had to look online and try different micro usb wire I had and finally the light turned on. I bought this for my mom, and wasn't able to test for her in time to replace the wire.Picture with the white wire is original wire. I hope this can be replaced

This works well. The problem is that the cords are really, really short. So short that when I'm charging it, it's hard to position the speaker when it's charging. Outlets are never at floor level, and they're rarely anywhere near a shelf, and the cord is less than 3 inches long. The only place I can charge it is on a power strip on the floor, which is not ideal. The audio cord is just as short, which is also irritating but a little easier to work around.

I was looking for a small speaker that I can easily carry to different rooms in the house. This is even better than I envisioned. Its about the size of an egg when closed. Easy to throw into a suitcase or purse. It's coming with on my next business trip. Remarkably good sound for something so little. I've listened 1-2 hours and the charge light still indicates blue for fully charged. I've used it with an MP3 player, Android/Motorola smart phone, and laptop. It has a USB connector for charging. I saw a comment that it cannot be charged while playing - not true. Also saw a comment that it can only be charged in a laptop's USB - strange comment - can't see why it wouldn't charge in any charger with a USB receptacle.

Loved this little speaker until I tried to charge it up. Now I get a bright blue light when plugged in to charge and nothing when unplugged. I bought a new version for hubby for Christmas hope it last longer than the one I got

worked well for about a year and half. Now the charger port is becoming loose and won't charge easily. We use it every night for white noise for our kids so it worked well every night for about a year and a half. we recently gave up on it though...
