Can’t find the Smart Life “skill” to link to Alexa, or anything to link to my Google Home. I have many other brands of lights, switches and plugs and have never had this much trouble connecting. Awaiting response from all parties: SHENZHEN ZJOJO TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD for the ZJOJO App...

Worked for about a week and now the color doesn’t work. Was fun for the week though. Now it is only works in various white modes. All colors just turn it off.It was easy to set up though and was looking forward to doing a lot with it, but I may look for another brand as I can’t find help with this.

Set up can be confusing and misleading. Once set up though it does functionAs expected. Was unable to set up with Alexa.

Bulb lasted less than a yr with minimal usage and now only works as white light, no color.

Loved them at first but one has already stopped working after not much use. Any chance for a replacement? I have them above our fireplace so they are on only a few hours a week at most

The light bulb itself is very bright, and fits the recessed light socket very well. Alexa can easily change its brightness, color, and turn it on or off.The only draw back is the software that came with it is not as good as others I have purchased. For example, it does not support scenes. I have no ability to have the software turn it on at sunset. Also the initial setup is kind of strange.If you just want a very bright light bulb, and don't care about software features, then this item would be a good choice. I really wish I can have it turn on based on sunset instead of fixed time, so I can only give it 4 stars.

Update: DO NOT BUY. ORIGINALLY A 3-STAR REVIEW.After just 2 months of owning 3 of these bulbs - one bulb has fully stopped functioning and another is half-broken. It can no longer display normal coloured light and does not display certain colours (ie: anything resembling the blue spectrum)HORRIBLE QUALITY BULBS. THEY ONLY LAST A FEW MONTHS AND THEN BREAK THEMSELVES. STAY AWAY.Original review:Overall good bulb but not good enough. It is darker than my non-smart 100W equivalent bulbs. I would rather have brighter non colour changing bulbs. The quality seems fine but setup is finicky.Overall fine and cheaper than some alternatives.

The bulb does not natively work with Google Home. You have to download some third party application in order to get this working. All of the companies are based out of Shenzhen, so who knows what network exploits this device can cause on your network. Syncing the device is an absolute pain. When you hear stories of sketchy IOT devices, this bulb comes to mind.

Set up was easy after downloading the ZJOJO app. But after a couple of weeks, I noticed the lights weren't adhering to the schedule I had them on. Now they don't follow the schedule at all. I have to manually turn them on/off.I emailed support and they said to download and use the SmartLife app. This is a pain as these are floodlights and that involves a ladder...and a pain to have to re-connect them to another app and reschedule.As for the light quality...they're great. I can dial in any colour and the white can be tuned cool or warm.

I tried for over 30 minutes to pair one bulb without success. I had a 75% WiFi signal, bulb blinking as required and it would not connect. I even created a separate 2.4ghz network just for the light and it still wouldn't work. Will likely return these, but will update if I'm able to get them working after one more try.

Before you buy try to install the “Zjojo” app. It’s isn’t available in the App Store as stated. If you try to install from the Zjojo web page you get the message “not available in your country or region” I idid manage to get them to work using another app after trying several that sunset work. Connecting to app is very tedious; took 2 hours to connect 13 bulbs. Setting time schedule is also tedious and wouldn’t always save the time setting. Wouldn’t not buy again. There is no contact info published anywhere for support!They spell bulb, wrong in the instructions.
