Trust your instincts that are saying "this is too much money for a plastic case."
When I first purchased this item I thought it was a bit overpriced (almost $15 for a plastic case). As I had recently sliced my thumb open on my razor reaching into my gym bag, I decided to pay a few extra bucks. That was a mistake. Although the item description and the package both state that it fits the ProGlide, it doesn't. Perhaps it technically does fit and I just had to manipulate the case the case just so and come in at the proper angle, trajectory and velocity to get the case to shut. I'm not a NASA space engineer so this was a piece of junk to me. Also, the latch to open and close the case is located on the top part of the razor, i.e. the sharp end. If the purpose of this case is to avoid being cut by your razor, this seems like a bit of a design flaw.I believe if you have an older mode of razor, such as the Mach 3, this case would fit it without issue. You would still be left with, however, the obvious design flaw and high price. Also, I might mention that shipping was slow. The case took over 2 weeks to arrive. Granted it was not a "Prime eligible" item but if you are selling to Amazon customers you should know we expect a certain level of prompt shipping. Thankfully, I purchased from Amazon so a return shouldn't be an issue.

Expensive, but firts the Dorco Pace 3
Expensive. It DOES NOT fit the Dollar Shave Club 4X. I have not tried any other DSC razors. It does, however, fit the Dorco Pace 3 (just barely).Since it does not fit the DSC 4X, I can only assume the Dorco Pace 4 will also not fit. YMMV, but use cautionThe Dorco is a great DSC alternative; MUCH cheaper for EXACTLY the same product as long as you're willing to buy blades in (slight) bulk and store them until you want to use them. The Dorco "Pace" line has a variety of razors (3 blade, 4 blade, and 2 different 6 blade versions for men. They also have some for women, but I'm not familiar with them.DSC whitelabels and resells Dorco products. These products are essentially identical, except for branding. Do yourself a favor, save some money and switch from DSC to Dorco.

Good idea but..
This is a good idea, but I have to be honest. My razor just doesnt fit in the thing. I wanted to put it in my shaving kit to protect stuff and its too small. If you want to protect a plastic razor, the kind you toss, then you may want to get this. I have larger razor handle with the Mach3 blades, its a nice handle, but just too wide for this case. Check the sizes before you buy to be sure it fits.

Works great! Keeps blades clean.
Simple case but works great. I keep a Shick Hydro 5 in my case, fits perfect. Keeps razor clean, has drain and air holes etc.Update - I have had this travel razor case for about 18 months and although admittedly I don't use it every day (it lives in my travel toiletry kit) it still works great. I recently decided to keep a second toiletry kit at work for the occasional double shifts or quick cleanups etc. I will definitely be buying another case like this.

Why didn't I buy this years ago?
This is such a great invention. For years I've had problems with my razor blades becoming unusable, falling off, etc. because they got jostled around in my bag. But this protects the razor perfectly. It's a sturdy, plastic case that stays securely shut and doesn't bend or break. I've made three trips with it now and couldn't be more impressed. It fits both a Mach 3 and Gillette Fusion just fine. The only downside is the price, but you get what you paid for and this is definitely worth it.

Excellent razor case
The case is excellent. It is very protective for traveling. Very easy to open and close and also very compact. Not much bigger than the razor itself. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that it does not fit the power versions of the razors.

Perfect Fit and Function
This case fits my Pro-Glide Fusion razor perfectly and provides excellent protection. I'm sure I'll be using it for years. My only complaint is that it is a little over priced, given that it is simply two relatively small pieces of molded plastic.

Decent, but overpriced and slow shipping.
Product does what it is supposed to. Ridiculously overpriced. This item should cost around $5.00. Painfully slow shipping. It took two weeks to ship from an address that is approximately 60 miles away.
