- HOW MUCH DO YOU NEED? A 10lb pack of this fire glass beads will cover around 1.2 sq. ft. with depth of 1 inch.- Rinse the glass beads before first use. Glass should be thoroughly dry before use.- Glass would be extremely hot. Do NOT handle for at least 2 hours after use.- Wear protective gloves and safety glasses at all times when handling glass. - Some beads may split after use. Glittery and pretty
We don't have a fire pit but bought these to give a "water" feature effect in our desert backyard. The sun catches the light and make these sparkle, and when the breeze rustles leaves in our nearby tree, the movement of shadows gives it an almost rippling water look. And you can't beat the price! This same cobalt glass was wayyy more expensive at the local home improvement store.

Not as blue as I thought
I thought it would be a deeper blue after washing it but it never did show the lust. It still looks good in my outdoor table top fire pit.
