In just a few minutes you'll be backing up with confidence!!!!
Five stars isn't enough! This deserves TEN stars! It is aptly named "Quick Installation"! I got this for our cargo van... which is very long, has no side windows, and is very scary to back up. When the back-up camera arrived... I opened the box, laid everything out on the dining room table and had it all assembled and working in less than five minutes!!! I am a senior woman in my 60's with NO electronic skills, but even I can see that four prongs should insert into four holes, and saw that there alignment guides visible (wedge-shaped landmarks) when connecting the cables. I chose the cigarette lighter option, so all the cables that I needed just plug together (no splicing or cutting)... there is a separate cable provided if you want to hard-wire it to the tail lights... After I plugged the cables together, I carried it out to our cargo van, plugged it into the cigarette lighter and Bingo!!! Everything was working perfectly immediately! No adjustments necessary! The screen showed a crystal clear color picture complete with the built in guidelines identifying the "safe zone"! It was all just that simple! The screen is compact in size and shape but really puts out a big picture, very easy to see, very clear and crisp! I only just got this about three hours ago, so I haven't attached the camera to the license tag frame yet... The directions at first glance appear inadequate but if you lay everything out first and then just look at the pictures, it all makes sense and is very easy to figure out and put together! Two installation options are given, one version is completely portable and removable because it's powered by the cigarette lighter... and the other power option-version is to "hard-wire" it to your back-up lights. After having experienced a built-in, factory-installed back-up camera in my Toyota Rav 4, that only operated when the car was in reverse, I opted for the cigarette lighter installation because this option allows the camera to be on, or off, at will, not just when in reverse... which brings me to another nice feature: the cigarette lighter insert's head is actually an "on-and-off" button that glows red when the camera is activated, you just push on it to turn it on or off instead of removing it from the cigarette lighter... that was a bonus that I wasn't expecting! Regarding the monitor... in my opinion it's far better than my Rav's! The clarity and definition are wonderful! It even has adjustment knobs for "brightness, contrast, and saturation". I didn't need to adjust anything, the image was perfect! In darkness or low light it's more on the black and white side, but in lighted situations, or in the daylight, it's in beautiful color...the camera has bright LED lights that light up the area in the dark. My Rav 4's built-in monitor was often useless in the daytime because the sun would usually shine so brightly right on the monitor screen that I couldn't see anything at all... but with this type of monitor I can tilt it or move it someplace where the "sun don't shine". Our cargo van has such limited side and rear visibility that I dread having to back it up... so I usually park far away from other cars so that I can just drive forward out of a parking space... I will definitely feel safer and more confident with this camera and monitor! This is just what I needed! And everything you need is included... I HIGHLY recommend this system! (Some tweaking that I plan to do: rather than using the sticky patch on the monitor to permanently mount it in one place on my dash or windshield, I'm going to set it up on a bean bag mount of some kind, similar to our GPS system and I also plan to get a baggie or a soft, protective sleeve to cover the screen for if, and when, I want to store it out of sight, (it came packed in a lightweight packing sleeve that will do for now). Now that I'll finally be able to safely back-up, I'm anxious to also get a "back-up beeper" to alert the people that are obsessively texting instead of watching where they are walking! I've attached a scan of the directions... my set came with TWO long lengths of cable, the 20' cable to the camera and another one to the cigarette lighter power insert... There is a card inside the box stating the system has an 18 month warranty... and an email address to use if you need help... they also list a Facebook @CISNO Official to check out their new products and customer bonuses. I feel much safer now with this wonderful camera system! YES! I WOULD buy this again! In fact... I'm ordering a second one as soon as I finish this review! Thanks CISNO for such a terrific product at such a terrific price! :)

highly functional
The media could not be loaded. PROs:Monitor is big enough to find rear view clearlyClean and Good Quality ScreenSmall, adjustable angle camera that take up little space and easy installPretty much everything you need is included except T-Tap Electrical ConnectorGood length of video wireColored connector was very helpful and made entire installation breezy easy.CONS:Hope a couple of T-Tap Electrical Connector were included in the kit.Instruction manual can be little bit easier reading for the instrallationinstead of just simple illustrations.Installation of this kit was not too difficult and straight forward for handy man like myself.I mounted the camera where i wanted it, drilled the hole through the underside of the trunk, ran the wire through and tapped the reverse light to give the camera power when the reverse is activated. There are 3 buttons on the reverse side of the mirror which aren't covered in the directions.Ran the orange video cable through the trunk lid, then through the cabin under the door trim. I then attached the monitor on dashboard. Connected the video feed and all was good. Took roughly less than 60 minutes. Tools i needed were: drill, half inch metal bit, wire cutters/strippers, wire taps, and a screw driver. So far, It's working well and made my wife happy.

Nice..........
I bought this for a back up and rear view camera for my 17' trailer. It has a very clear and sharp picture, very easy to install.I had to buy an extension cable to make the distance, it's a Garmin cable, not available on Amazon. As for the picture it's better than my Toyota back up camera. I hoped to use it as a "rear view mirror" behind my camper that I tow. However, the focal point is not adequate for that and the view behind me is somewhat limited. Effective range is only about 50 - 60 feet, maybe a little more. Still I can see if anyone is back there for lane changes etc. The lines on the picture do not help, maybe hinder back up. They don't provide any real width measurement of my Toyota Tacoma. It would be better to offer a camera without the reference lines.I reversed the foot mount on the monitor and shove it into the disk slot on my cd player in my dash, it holds it and works great. I wish it had a larger monitor.Overall, I'm happy with it, I bought 2 so I could have one on my camper and 1 on my truck.

It Really Is Just Okay
The wiring to the monitor isn't the best so sometimes the monitor wont come on and I'll have to touch where it connects to get it to power up. The plastic covering over the monitor had a huge scratch across it, but the monitor screen itself was fine. There is no option to turn off the led lights or the grid lines without opening the camera. On the plus side, the resolution is clear enough and the push button on/off is a good feature if you aren't wanting to hard wire it. I'll be using it as a inside security monitor that will be directed toward a window so I had to cover the led lights. Electrical tape allowed light to shine at the edges so in the end I just painted over them.I asked customer service if they sold a camera without lights and they have a IR one, but it still has red lights on it.
