Just like the "big names" stick's ... Without the big price tag.
Wanted to buy one of these carrot sticks after going to a horsemanship clinic where I was "sold" on the enhanced ability I had to communicate with clearer cues when using one. I didnt want to spend $40 on one though (just because it says "Clinton Anderson" or whatever on it. So I bought this, and though it is a hair thinner than the other ones I have seen, it totally does the job. It is quality made and comfortable to use. Would refer anyone to these who wants to save a little money.

WAY better than expected!
Bought this with some obvious reservations. I mean if you go to other sites these Carrot Sticks can cost upwards of $60. I was worried that this stick would feel cheap or flimsy. This couldn't be more false. It is high quality and feels great. It is a little lighter than the Clinton Handy Sticks, which I like. The lash is removable, which I also like. I got the green one and the color is vibrant and easy to see in a dusty round pen. Overall, a great quality product for a very reasonable price. Check this out before you head over to a more expensive seller.

Nice version of more expensive natural horsemanship training stick
This is not really meant to be a whip, but an extension of the trainer's arm, which is what a longe whip should generally always be, anyway. But the training stick in natural horsemanship is really used that way, to help guide, direct, and pressure the horse to behave and move in the desired direction of its own volition. When the horse does move, the pressure is released. The "string" can be removed and used on its own, as well. This stick is fashioned to look and work just like those that are sold by the big name natural horsemanship personalities who sell such things on their websites for double or more this price. And, you can choose your own color here! I have my horses at a boarding barn, so my things are color coded so that I know that they are mine.

I would definitely recommend this
I ordered the pink whip and not only does it match my entire tack set perfectly, but it's a nice whip and I've gotten quite a few compliments on it. Has a bull snap at the end for that extra noise, which is quite useful with my yearling I've been training. The stick itself is not too long or too short, it is that "just perfect" length. It isn't a stiff stick and has alot of flex too it also, which I appreciate.

Great training stick
If you are reading this review, then you are probably well aware of all the natural clinicians, John, Clinton, Stacy, etc that want you to buy their sticks to use. Buy this one instead. Same exact thing, super good price, shipped fast, and I have used it a ton since I got it and it looks and works perfectly. I got the red one, because I like bright colors, the red is nice. This stick has some heft to it also, NOT flimsy.

Sturdy
Just like the fancy name brand, just cheaper. It does seem a little thinner than the name brand ones but it's very sturdy and not flimsy at all. I like the removable rope. The leather on the end is durable too

Carrot stick
This is not quite the same as the more expensive ones from well known trainers, but it is very useable and a great stick for the price. It's not to be used as a whip but as an extension of one's arm. I like it.

Awesome!!!!
Very sturdy and heavy stick (gold club like) thick whip. It's a bit heavy to use at first but one you get used to the weight it's very nice. I have found it a great desensitization tool as well as a nice pop (on the ground not the horse) to get em going.
