Great Lens!
I love this lens. It is very sharp. I went from a Nikon 50 1.4 to this and I especially love the little bit of high fashion look it gives my portraits, being a bit wider. Wide open, how I love to shoot, it performs fantastically. I do not regret this purchase. 😁

If you want to save 700 bucks against nikkor 35 1.4, then this is the one
Likes: Build and performance, Depth of focus, used in both FX and DX, Solidity, Contrast and clear pictures.Dislikes: Autofocus - for a 800 bucks lens, Sigma lacked big time - you need to calibrate the lenses by yourself by a special sigma dock (and it is definitely not easy for amateurs).Otherwise this lens is a steal, considering the fact, Nikkor equivalent is 700 bucks costlier than this one!

After calibration is better but not perfect.
Probably you'll have to calibrate it. I tried with dock station but had to send it to service. It's better but after few weddings I can see that it will have focus problems soon again

Love this lens, makes a great prime lens
So far I have used this lens to shoot three weddings , a new born baby and several family sessions, I was just upset that the first lens I ordered came damaged and when I went to replace it, I was not able to get the same deal so I had to pay more for less

real good！ very nice picture quality and much cheaper than L lens. only drawback is the focusing is not as good as L lens

Love this lens!
Love this lens! A little heavy but easy to use and I love that it adjusts itself into focus. Great for making movies as well! Well worth the money!
