Radracing ATV Carburetor Compatible with TRX500 Rubicon 500 2001-2005 16100-HN2-013 TRX500FA TRX500FPA TRX500FM

When I installed the Carb, it blew the IGN fuse. I installed a 30 amp fuse to do a smoke test. Found the fuel heater was shorting to ground, sending 12v into the carb causing the throttle and choke cables to heat up as they are the only connection to a ground. Contacted the seller, they said i needed to adjust the fuel mix & idle and send them a picture of the defective part. I later found out the TPS could not be adjusted to the factory spec, possibly defective from the start or due to 12v going through the carb. The only reason it is running now is because i have a parts. I do not expect good things from this carb in the future. Do not buy.

I have tried all the other carburetors on Amazon for my 04 Rubicon. I almost gave up and bought a OEM. I decided to give it one more shot with this one. This carburetor is awesome. I never write reviews. But I decided to write this one so I could help someone like me find a good replacement. One piece of advice I can give is to remove the idle air adjustment screw from your old carburetor and put it in this one.

The carburetor was delivered before the anticipated date. It was well packaged and completely un-damaged. NO instructions were included with the unit. Install is the reverse of removal. Adjustment info is available on the internet - IF REQUIRED... With ZERO added anything, my 16 yr old Honda 4-Wheeler started on the first touch of the button. I give Radracing a BIG THUMBS-UP. The price/value of this purchase is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.Addendum: March 13, 2020 The Carb is still working fine. I have Zero problems !! Great Product.

I typically don’t write reviews, but had to for this product. I have a 2005 500 Honda Foreman which the float was stuck and Leaking fuel out of the overflow. I was on the fence between an OEM & After Market carburetor. I went with this one because to the reviews. I switched them out within an hour and it fired right up first try. I did switch out the air screw as suggested in an earlier review. I also did not have the fuel line size issue other reviewers mentions, it slipped right on. If I have any issues in the next month I’ll update this review

I was not able to start my 2003 TRX500 after it sat idle for 3 months. When I went to rebuild the carb, I found it was damaged. This replacement went right into place and fired right up first try. It had no instructions, but not really needed as it was an exact replica of the original. I've had it in about a week now, and it's running well - even used it to plow my 1/2-mile driveway when it snowed yesterday. So far, so good!

So all was going well until I went to connect the electrical connector and the end slipped right off. Now I get to reinstall a connector!!Update - after installation the carb leaked. They are sending a replacement but after a lot of back and fourth emails and pictures. Plus another week of shipping. Should of purchased a different carb. I was optimistic too because it started up and ran well. Just don’t need it leaking fuel.

Carb fit perfect, primed/started easily. Dropped a star because the fuel inlet is a little larger than the OEM Honda. The factory fuel line will fit, but it is not that easy to get a 15 year old rubber hose to stretch.

Installed on my 01 Rubicon in 40 minutes. Only issue, original fuel hose was smaller than the "pipe" sticking out of the carb. No worries, the original fuel line will stretch over it. Thanks for a great product. Bike hadn't run in 4 years... fresh gas and a battery, started on 2nd push of the started button. Now on to the brakes...
