So my iPhone XR is on it's way and I am already prepared for when it gets here. I got a this case specifically since I had the same case for my iPhone 8. It is a protective case as much as a charging case, I am constantly on the road and sometimes have no where to charge my phone. My car's charger is not working and I use my GPS constantly. Super excited to hit the road with my iPhone!

I live and work on my phone. The XR naturally takes about 2 hours to charge when plugged into wall. I charged the case full and it was able to charge my phone a full 95% in about the exact same time frame. In sense if % the case was able to charge my from 5% to 100% and again from 55% to 80% before running out of juice itself. I was hoping for the size I’d get a two full charges. But I can’t really complain about 120% added battery life.It does make phone a bit bulky and heavy. But it’s a trade off to get the added battery power. It feels tough. Maybe because it’s heavier but feel like I can throw it and it would be okay.Update: had case 2 weeks and port stopped charging phone. Can charge battery case but no longer charges phone and case itself doesn’t charge phone anymore. Requested replacement in hopes mine became faulty after 2 weeks. Will update after trying second outSecond update: exchanged them no problems and new one seems to work like a champ.Last update: new case is about a 9 weeks old and I have to slide phone out and back into case about 50% of the time to get it to charge. Once phone acknowledges that it is plugged in it charges fine. On flip side I only have to do this about every 4 days as phone and case lasts that long. If I am unable to get one to work properly likely look at switching to apples version.

Got this for my new baby!! I am very active on my phone and post images and tweets all day long, but mostly I blog. I needed a case that feels good and is capable of charging my phone anytime I run low and on the go.. Well, this case made all my dreams come true. It protects my phone very well, it charges very fast, and doesn't heat up. Excellent find!!

I gave this a two start and that might be pushing it, but it gets two because it does function as a battery case.Let's go over the features:Plugged-in Charging It takes a very very long time to charge, but we are charging a phone and battery case so it should be longer. However it is about 8 hours for a full charge on both case and phone.Wireless Charging It does support wireless charging but the phone has to be positioned in the just perfect position. If the phone gets bumped a little it will stop charging. - very poorMagnetic Case While the phone is magnetic, it is very weak. Add that to the weight of the case+phone and it doesn't matter how strong your magnet is.Case There is a finish on the cast that give a nice soft tough feel. However, after a week it started to chip. I am not abusive at all to phone, in fact quite the opposite. I baby my phone, so for to case to chip this easily was a major let down.Overall I would not recommend this product.

Charges super! Bought this since I am always in meetings and never have time to be off my phone. Got this as a portable charge/ case and I am really enjoying it. It was very easy to install, all you have to do is slide it in and click the back button. It can also withstand hit and bumps as I can tell you from experience. There was no damage to the phone or to the the actual case. The battery size is 1500 mAh, which is pretty good size and more than enough.

Not hard to install on your phone. I love that it contains bumpers all around the phonerather than leaving either the top or the bottom part open like other battery cases do. It issoft but a kinda heavy when used with then phone. Me personally, I am okay with, since Iget longer battery life, however, I def wish it was slimmer so it fits more comfortably in my pocket.

This is a great case! I bought this for my girlfriend since she has a tendency to break her screen every few months. The case is very durable and works not just as a charging case but also as a protective bumper in case the phone is dropped. Obviously, she let me know that she dropped it and nothing happened, thankfully, and that she uses it all the time when she runs low on battery.

I had a similar case for my iphone 6s that lasted at least 18 months before I had to replace it. It worked flawlessly. This unit had issues from the start. There are some mornings that I would notice the phone had not charged even though the case fully charged overnight. I had to slide the phone out and back into the case to get the phone to charge from the case. I was sent a replacement and it started doing the same thing in a short time. Then I dropped the case, which is bound to happen sooner or later. The cap that slides into the top of the phone was loose from that point forward and fell off the phone a short time later and I lost it. Two cases in 3 months. Don't waste your money.
