My Book of Words for School: Level 2-Ages 5-7 (Kumon Words For Schools)

I love all the kumon books in general but my problem with this book is that so many of the pages are letter tracing and by age 5-6-7 which is what this book is intended for according to kumon themselves kids should not have to trace letters anymore. For the beginner series like the series for age 3-4-5 I completely understand why the majority of the book is letter tracing but this is the next level up and again almost 3/4 of the book is dotted letters to trace. The words are much bigger words compared to series age 3-4-5 which is excellent but non the less it’s just letter tracing. I wish it was more of the blank squares so the kid has to figure it out himself how to write and spell the words. It’s extremely repetitive for those of you that aren’t familiar with kumon which personally I think works great. The pictures are great and the paper quality is very thick good paper perfect for those beginner writers.

インターナショナルスクールに通う子供の為に購入。スペルの暗記は学校でほとんどしないらしいので、念のために家で練習してます。低学年のうちはやらせないと絶対にやらないので、隙間時間にやらせてます。北米版のkumonworkbookは基本説明いらずのトレース学習なので、親の語学力にも関係なく子供が取り組みやすいです。
