No audio. (Updated)
I like hearing my motors. It helps you notice a problem before it becomes a big problem.Audio does not work on either of the receivers we received. My friend removed his heatsink and it appeared to have the correct filter soldered onto the pcb to enable sound, but still no audio. Perhaps it needs a firmware update? I'm still searching the interwebs for more information, so if I'm incorrect in my observation I will update my review.Update:You can get audio, but you have to solder bridge the audio pads which requires you to take apart the two boards in order to access the pads.

Amazing unit for the cost
I purchased one of these receivers as a backup to my laforge. WELL, my laforge took a dump and I slapped in this unit. Holy-freakin-amaze-balls was I surprised when I had just as good of signal and range. Since then I have purchased a second unit and slapped that into my modified teleporters for backup and ride alongs. The downside is they have no real cover or mounting support. The oled is probe to breaking too I guess so I just slathered hot glue all around the edges and built it up around the edge to protect the screen. Viola! A semi robust diversity screen straight out of a porno-flick 😂

Great reception and easy firmware upgrade to achilles with built-in USB port
Great module for my Fatshark Dominator V3's, ordered as a replacement for my furious true-d 3.6 that stopped working after a failed firmware upload to upgrade to 3.7. Needed to get my FPV fix again and FAST with prime 2-day. Tested on default firmware and it worked great, even better after upgrading to achilles firmware which was a breeze to do with the built-in USB port. Same process as true-d using xloader so I can't see where I went wrong updating the true-d's. With achilles you can set it up to beep when RSSI is low which is a nice feature and super fast smart scan. Going to 3d print a cover eventually but in the meantime used some outdoor rated double sided tape which has a bit of cushiness to it to put between the module and my fatsharks and the module is held in there very well, don't really need a cover except to protect the LCD at this point. But I kinda like the exposed electronics style, makes me look more cyborg-like and ensures proper ventilation as this module does seem to build up some heat after extended use. Using with a handmade FAR-VEW pagoda v2 combat edition as well as a FAR-VEW Triple-Feed patch antenna and get great reception with very little breakup, there are LED's that change color when the diversity switches antennas which is a handy feature to see which antenna is getting better reception. Can't comment on longevity as I only started using this a week ago. Wishing I would have saved myself $40 and bought this to begin with instead of the true-d.

some things you need to know.
First, if you have an attitude V3 like me you should know this module will not fit in your goggles. At first. you just have to pull off the face plate and loosen the two silver screws on the bottom of the google on that side. You can split the googles apart a little then slide the unit in. Put the screws back in and you have a securely installed module. But thats not the worst of it. Next you will need some type of module cover. I 3d printed the one from airbender on thingverse. Highly recomended. Oh, did I mention the lcd screen is soldered on crooked. And last but not least the auto scanning feature does not work. I have to find my channel manually. I'm going to try a software update to fix that problem. But here's the good. Kick "butt" range on these things! Best out of all the modules i've tried.

Great dual diversity video receiver
Product works great. I never have issues with it. It's been in my Fatshark Dominator V3 goggles for a few months now, and the receiver has never let me down. I have nothing but good things to say about this dual diversity video receiver. Don't forget to purchase a cover plate for it, otherwise it will probably fall out every 5 minutes. I bought the cover plate at the same time I bought this. Some ppl must not read the entire product description based on some of the lesser ratings, which isn't really fair. This is a great product, no question.

Glad I did that instead of waiting as the first ...
I had to buy two of these and am returning one as the first one I received did not work, the OLED did not light up at all. The other status lights seemed to go crazy but no dice on the display. I thought maybe it was the fact that I was simply using an FTDI board to power it up since I don't yet have my HD3's and noticed there was only one left in stock so I decided to not wait and pick up another and return one. Glad I did that instead of waiting as the first one I got surely did not work like the one i received today. The first one had to have been a return item from before as the one I received today was in full sealed packaging. See pic side by side. you can see the one on the left had no bag or cardboard branding, just the plastic box with the module wrapped in a foam strip. It also didn't have the pull of screen protector still present like the new one... so yea, clearly used which I probably would have been fine with if it actually worked. Right now giving it a 4 because it looks pretty and appears to work but yet to really know until I have something I can use it with.

The receiver part is great in here
The receiver part is great in here. However, the screen design is absolutely horrible. Despite there being a screen replacement available on amazon, this sticks out way too much and broke when I dropped my goggles on a picnic table from about 1 foot high. But like I said, the receiver part of this product works flawlessly and though I've never had any nicer receivers than this, it does do leaps and bounds better than the RD40 considering it is $2 more expensive. Only downside is that you need fatsharks to be able to use it. In a nutshell, buying one of these and a replacement screen is still a great deal and worth it all. Might want to get a 3d printed case for it too :)

Works great as expected!
Works as expected with no issues so far. Though if you 3d print the similar type product cover you may end up you may end having to trim a little. Also note on mine, the screen was tilted a little but if you remove the double sided sticky tape on the back you can straighten it.ohh also, the screen PCB is red as shown in the picture.
