Worked Great
I only occasionally need to do wiring work, but when I do I always end up cutting out a few strands of wire when I strip them using the old fashioned stripper tools. Years ago I saw this design, but they were still under patent and cost a fortune, but I knew I would buy one as soon as the prices came down. I got this on a great Amazon deal. These worked perfectly for me tonight as I stripped several wires of different gauges for a project I'm doing. I was able to set it up so that the same length of insulation was stripped of each. I stripped the ends of six wires as quick as I could have done one the old fashioned way and NO STRANDS OF WIRE WERE CUT IN THE PROCESS.I can't say whether these would stand up to daily use by a pro, but as a DIYer, I'm very happy with them. (Note: They come up on sale in the Prime daily deals a lot)

Great tool saved a lot of time!
I was stripping with standard mech strippers prior to this and this saved a lot of time. Bought this for a wire tuck after trying to strip about 15 wires back to back. Reviews were good and this is cheaper than buying from the store with the same quality. The tools does skip every 10 or 12 strips. If there is anything on the outside of the wire, the teeth will not grip the sheath and it will also slip. For smaller gauge wires, the sheath gets jammed in the space between the teeth and the actuator. This is not a huge deal, but you need to rattle the tool or knock it against something to dislodge every 3rd or 4th sheath. Not a huge deal for me, but thought it was wort mentioning. I also think there should be a hole or hook on the end of the handle to hang it from pegboard or something of the sort.

Not a quality or daily use tool.
Ever at the highest setting the wire slips through the jaws. I tried multiple gauges of wire and various levels of resistance to try and make it work but it never seems to bite as it should, like on a quality tool.It was a $10 deal of the day and 5 others had given it 5 stars so maybe I got a defect (but I doubt it).I know better than to trust a Chinese knock off tool but I bought it anyway.Returned it with out issue.

Great quality and price. I would buy it again.
I'm a handy man and I would recomend this to anyone who works on electrical field. I have used it couple of times and it's so handy. I have a couple of other wire strippers but nothing like this one it's a must have from an electrician to a handyman.

It does not work well with small gauge solid wire.
I bought these primarily for stripping 23awg cat6 wires. My Irwin has worked wonderfully at this for years. I thought, since this looks similar to the Irwin, it would work the same... it does not. It either cuts the wire or pulls the sheathing back (as opposed to removing the stripped end). Unfortunately it does both inconsistently, so I can never prepare for it. I have tried to adjust the wheel, unfortunately it only adjusts the cut head not the holding side, which is the problem. I would say these work well for larger gauge wire, but definitely not for smaller gauge solid copper.

Very poor performance.
The tool only works on 10 ga or 12 ga wire with very soft insulation. On thicker or thinner wire, or on wire with a hard or slippery insulation, it just slips and slides. Very poor performance.

Okay not to impressed
Good product but you get what you pay for. This is fine for small projects not insulted. Be careful don't use with live power might end up being hurt. It works good for small wires not for tough jobs.

Broke the first day I had it.
People do not waste your money on this item. No S#$t, it did not last 40 wire splices. The small nut where the two handled are joined became loose, I barely used 1 Ft lbs of pressure to tighten it and it stripped, rendering it useless. China steel man, China steel. Spend a few more dollars and buy American on this tool.
