570 lbs combined couple, sturdy, nice - King size
Update 3 years later: frame squeaks some when getting in or out of bed, but once screws retightened seems to work for a few months then returns. Will try loctite. Otherwise still happen with bed. We've had our new bed/frame for about a month. The frame works pretty well with my Costco Casper Select King Mattress. The frame is very sturdy. Easy to assemble. My SO & I weight about 570/580 together & we haven't had any issues with it. No squeaking or anything.Pro: I like the headboard- despite thinking we wouldn't. We previously had a big wood one, and this one saves a lot of space. Sturdy (even with couples time). Good height, can store tall stuff under.Cons: Corners are sharp - so those can be a hazard with kids/toddlers learning to walk or running around. My mattress was a little too short and didn't fit perfect, but honestly it's not a big of an issue for us. A little paint was chipped on this product. We just watch our kiddos, and will likely add something to help with the sides.I would recommend and I would purchase it again, if needed.

Cheap and easy to assemble
I have a bad (really bad) shoulder, and I was able to assemble this bed in 30-60 minutes. The instructions are not the best, but the metal bars are labeled nicely, so it makes it easy to match the different pieces. It is also very sturdy, so it is very quiet. I also like the way it looks.

Not the nightmare I thought it would be!
Needed a bed for my 14 year old. Received the box without damage. Box was heavy, parts were packed well. Seemed like a lot of parts, I was slowly getting ready for putting the puzzle together. Just so you know, I have put together multiple Ikea beds and furniture in the past. All were easy to assemble, but none of which were time friendly. Kind of like building a lego sky-scraper, fun at first, but then turn into time vampires. They turn into a tunnel vision frenzy of guesswork and bloody nuckles. I was mentally ready for the afternoon assembly nightmare, with stick figure caracters, and bushels of odd-ball parts. After looking at these parts, however, I was amazed at the simplicity! I did need the wife to hold up one end of the headboards at first, but otherwise a piece of cake! Maybe took 30 minutes. Now, to be fair, I do use my Bosch impact driver (lightly) to speed it up, and a 6 or 8mm bit (can't remember). Even if I didn't use the driver, and use the included allen wrenches, it would still be quick. Fit and finish of the bed is great, and so far has not collapsed. My son loves it. Thanks!

This is the one!
I was looking for a queen size bed frame that wasn't a piece of crap. After reading the reviews on dozens of beds and finding them all to say the same negative things, I finally came to this bed. Ignore the negative comments. They are old and the manufacturer obviously read them and made corrections. This bed had only one issue that the manufacturer still needs to address (I'll get to that). This bed is well built and the metal is thick. It's not going to fall apart. All of the pieces and hardware were quality. I went with this bed for two main reasons, first was that it's the heaviest. The package weight comes in at 58 pounds (much heavier than any other bed on Amazon). Second, it has wooden slats. Reviews all complained about metal slats being cheap, breaking and making noise. The slats are silent. They have velcro on them that anchors them to the bed frame. Two of the slats also have peel off tape that allows you to stick them to your mattress to "prevent" the mattress from sliding around per the manufacturer. I didn't peel off the tape cover because it would "actually" be sticking the mattress to the slats. MANUFACTURER should remove this and come up with a better solution to mattress slippage like physical bumbers of some sort. But slippage hasn't been an issue anyway. The bed comes with good instructions similar to those you'd get from Ikea. The parts were all labeled as was the hardware package. None of the screws got stripped during installation and I torqued them down pretty hard. The parts came individually wrapped in plastic and held in place in the box with heavy cardboard. No scatches or paint defects. The only real issue I found was the the beds center leg. When attached to the center support arm the bottom of the leg didn't touch the floor (it was approximately half an inch to short). Not really a problem considering everything else was satisfactory, but you'll need to stick something underneath it. I used a piece of wood and a foam and plastic floor protector to fill the gap. Best bed under $300 on Amazon. This bed will last forever. It deserves 5 stars, but gets 4 only because of the short center leg.

A Bedframe That Will Last A Lifetime
This replaced a miserable wooden platform frame that creaked and snapped and warped. It had also been a nightmare to assemble. Not the case with this new one! First difference is that this one is heavy steel that is powder coated in black. I could barely drag the carton it came in to the bedroom where it would be used. Secondly, all parts arrived in good order with each piece clearly numbered. Instructions were very easy to follow, and I had this bad boy assembled in just over 30 minutes. It has a steel center support and legthat will not come loose (like the wooden one on my previous frame), and the wooden slats are evenly spaced with Velcro bands. The slats fit flush with the top of the frame. My old frame had 1/2” recess all around and the mattress did not fit properly on it.The slats include sticky pads which, if you choose to remove the tape to use them, will hold your mattress in place. I choose not to use them because I spin my mattress from head to foot once a month to ensure even wear. There is no need for a box frame below yourmattress which, indeed, will save you money. This sits 10” off the floor which means the bed sits lower than others in case you wanted a bed that needs a ladder to get into. Ha. This was an excellent investment!
