Did not work with E60 530D
Did a service and replaced my old working unit with this one because the original was leaking oil internally. Now the oil temp on dash is not working as well as oil level when plugged into diagnostics. A complete load of rubbish, do not waste your time and money. Now I have to drain the new oil out and replace this sensor again.
