Here’s the Test results folks- 02/24/19So I did the gentle wash with zero issues, yes there was a little bit of lint left in the washer as most reviews said there would be but I just use a WET wash rag and it wiped right out EASILY.Tumble dried with zero issues- filled the lint trap but again as expected so just clean out like normal.Rug was not soaking wet as some of the bad reviews said- no damage to the rug, maybe they don’t have a decent washer and dryer idk.(I mopped the tile floor before test to help see a difference)Shoe Test- I did two. One like As Seen On TV, I went out on a rainy day and let my shoes get wet and a little muddy but nothing ridiculous- took two steps on the rug with both shoes (didn’t “wipe” my feet) and there was still lots of wet and muddy foot prints on the printer paper I placed on the floor after the rug- took two steps each on the paper.See first two pictures.Then the dog- I asked him to sit when he came in. He moved his feet a few times and did a few turns on the rug then I let him walk on the paper and onto the tile- still lots of wet and muddy paw prints on the paper and on the tile. Lots.See first two pictures.Then I went outside and got my feet a little wet and muddy again, came in and wiped my feet like normal. Maybe 5 or 6 good wipes back and forth and side to side, unfortunately the paper showed my foot prints again.See 3rd picture.So in my opinion this rug does not work as described, there is nothing magical about it and it does not prevent foot prints from tracking through the house.I have put the rub back in the box and will be sending it back as I already have a rug that doesn’t prevent foot prints from tracking through the house that is twice as big as this one.Hope this helps!

Love this doormat. I bought the smaller size to see if it really works and it does! I bought the larger size since and plan on getting two more large ones.We have 5, yes 5, large dogs and 3 cats that use the doggy door. That’s 32 paws many times a day. So the small stays by the dog door there and we keep the larger one by the front door. We run a business from our home, so along with the paws, there are quite a few feet coming in and out the front. The door is able to glide right over it!! All the other doormats were too thick and opening the door was a hassle. Can you imagine having groceries and struggling to just open the door?And let’s talk about when it rains. It would drive me crazy. We put down towels, old blankets. Anything to limit the mess on the area carpets and wood flooring. This magic carpet keeps the little sand, pebbles and muddy mess from getting into the house.Easy to clean. Just shake out, drop it in the washer and lay flat to dry!This is a game changer. I don’t have to do the floors every day! Wish they made a larger size

I bought this as an indoor welcome mat to my apartment because I didn’t want one of those rough ones. My entry opens into the kitchen which has a hard floor and I like to take my shoes off there, but wanted something soft to step on when my shoes were off yet tough enough to withstand people stomping their shoes.Let me warn you however, when you first open the box, and it does mention this if you care to read the insert inside, the mat sheds a lot. It’s constantly dropping pieces of itself everywhere. So what you want to do is open it right next to your washing machine, and immediately throw it in there with no detergent. I should warn you again, after it’s washed, you’re going to need to wipe down the inside of your washer with a damp paper towel to cleanup all the lose fibers it left behind. It seriously looks like it disintegrated in there, but somehow it comes out looking fine.Once you take care of that, the rug mat thing is great actually. I haven’t walked in it with muddy shoes yet, and I hope I don’t have to. But I have had guests come over and they notice how soft and comfy it is and they are surprised to hear it is meant to be placed there. It has a nice tough rubber bottom so it doesn’t slide. It has a very low profile so my door just grazes over it.I’m very happy with it. It’s perfect for putting my shoes on and off. Would buy again if I had another door.

I purchased this product to put a stop to wet and muddy paw prints at the back door instead of throughout my house. I have only had it for about a month but it has helped through a very wet and muddy end of winter and beginning of spring.

This mat stays at the inside of the dog door for all the in and out traffic. It is awesome! It helps with all the rainy days and just regular dirt in and out with my two aussies. The best thing for me is that it stays put! I wanted a grippy mat that wouldn't slide every time the run out, and it has done the trick. Love it!

Very nice doormat. I have not tested it to the extreme, but it seems to be working well. A few loose fibers came out when I washed it, but it was not really much. There are multiple different-colored fibers, which I don't think you can observe in the picture. Also, my cat finds it comfortable. :-)

I ordered this rug to place at the base of my stairs. It's very nice and I love the color. I got the 36x24 black and white. Very happy with my choice.

I bought 2x and put them in the washer as they warn and boy, do I regret it. My washer is now full with fuzz, it's like the whole rug came out and spread all over. This product is absolute trash and the company should not be allowed to sell it on Amazon. 0/10 do not buy~!!

Purchased this doormat, with high expectations... for the high price... but no, it's not absorbent...

Works quite well if you wipe your feet on it. Haven’t been able to teach the dog to wipe her paws and modest results with husband.

Works very well. Muddy yard, muddy dog - no tracks through the house. Machine washes easily. Very absorbent.

Love the mat works well doesn’t slip. Another option to a much larger mat size 1000x 500 I would would buy two now.
