I agree with the first review completely. You have to see this unit to appreciate how large the display really is. I can read most of the info from at least 10 ft without my glasses. The set up wasn't too bad. All I wanted to do was set the date and time stuff and reset the unit from C to F. and that wasn't too bad for this old guy. Two things I should mention: First, the unit came packaged as if they expected the US Postal Service would be delivering via air drop. Second, the outside unit is designed to hang on a screw head, but finding one small enough to fit meant I had to use a jewelers screw driver to put it into the outside wall. Not a big deal, but still unusual. I can't address durability I've only had it a day, but this is really nice unit.

I like the large display, combined with it staying lit allows you to read it from a distance. I agree with Oregon John on two accounts. Came packaged to survive an air drop, strapped to an atom bomb. And the slot provided in the back of remote sensor is unbelievably small. I have a screw supply that is nothing short of a hardware store, and it took awhile to find one that small. I will add that the directions must of been written by a drunk oriental lawyer. I got a headache trying to make sense of it. I did get the unit set up, but with no help from the manual.

Great Product have tried 3 different brands over the years and by far this is my favorite so easy to read with or without having the back light on. The temperature is within 1 or 2 degrees of what the TV forecast says for the outdoor sensor. The back light (which I run main station on batteries only 3 aaa) lights up by pressing the large snooze button and turns off after 10 seconds is very nice at night when stumbling around in the dark to check temp. The unit comes with charger cable that plugs in to usb port (you will need wall charger adapter though if not plugging in to a PC) which is nice when changing batteries so you won't lose your settings. The outdoor sensor takes 2 aaa batteries only complaint I have is the very small keyhole mounting that needs a very small screw to mount the units, However the main unit does have 3 mounting points which makes it very stable on the wall. The unit does do the humidity also which is very handy knowledge to have. If you need to have temperature alerts this model does those as well which if you have a basement and need to be alerted to low temps to avoid water pipes breaking could save someone lots of money. This model does allow you to have up to 3 temp sensors so in theory one for outdoors another for basement and a greenhouse for example. This unit can work as an alarm clock as well which can be set at a night stand instead of mounting it on the wall only draw back to the alarm would be not weekend setting so you would have to manually turn off the alarm clock for weekends.

Bought this in March. Noticed after 2 weeks, the time was already off by at least a minute. Minor issue, I just changed it back to the correct time. Have been doing this for 8 months. Last week, the outside temp reading was way off. Yesterday, for example, the temp range where I live was a low of 41 and a high of 63. The outdoor temp read 54 and 58. That is the range it now stays. I had already put new batteries in the sensor and done everything the manual said to do. I contacted the company that sold it. They denied my claim and said since I had bought it 8 months ago it was my problem.. I'm sorry, something like shouldn't stop working after months.. Don't waste your money buying anything from this company!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only complaint is the print I kind of small. I purchased for my 70 year old parents.

I really like this weather station clock, the big bright and clear display is very easy to read and attractive, and it has adjustable backlight: high light, middle bright, power saving mode display. So far it is been very accurate,the accuracy is 0.1C, it is wall mountable or desk top. very nice indoor & outdoor temperature humidity monitor

Everything works, so far so good. Ask me in a few months. Nice display, big numbers easy to read

Transmitter quit working after 18 months. I advised Aotouind of my problem and received no response. There is no tech help. Aotouind's product warranty is 3 years.
