Good product and packing, kindly add compatibility information on product page
Good product, received in excellent condition with plastic casing. One input to seller: Kindly add compatibility information, I tried the product on Arduino IDE with v2.5.2 of ESP8266, nothing was working so I was about to write a bad feedback that product is not working and maybe end up discarding a good board. The board worked with v2.5.1, as an end user I have to spend some effort but if seller already does some iot and share the input in product page then it would be really helpful of all buyers.

Better quality and packaging
For my initial order, I bought the same board from two vendors. This review is for the one that I bought from Easy electronics. While both the boards function perfectly, I find that this board has slightly better manufacturing quality (better quality diode, clearer silkscreen at the rear) and came in a sturdy plastic box. I'd say go for it.As for the programming, I found that a baud rate of 115200 bps works much better than the 9600 bps that was mentioned on the board.

Go for this product...
Very good packaging but the pins came a lil' but bent but, that is not a deal breaker..because the board quality is really good and pcb finish is really well... Didn't find any problem connecting the board to the IDE.... Product description matches exactly to the product.... Ran two codes successfully... and one more thing don't forget to set the baud rate to 115200 rather than 9600....

It doesn't suit every possible application of NodeMCU, try another
Made in china product, not reliable, cheap and doesn't work. Waste of money. WNRP

Handy with nice form factor
Since a lot of work is going on nodemcu so its easy to code and connect to firebase. I have deployed it as an IOT device and its been over 10 days of it successfully working. I am able to control my room lights using an android app too.

Tiny but powerful
Although this is a very tiny board, the fact that it boasts wifi connectivity and wifi hotspot and about 10 gpio pins is quite amazing. The board can be programmed through arduino ide but you make sure you install usb to serial drivers required.Very useful for home automation projects.
