UnderworksNylon Maxi Length Half Slips with Snip a Length

I've been making due with a half slip under the stylish maxi dresses for years and found this full length slip (despite the influencer video in the pictures referring to it as a skirt oh my!) It is a good ole fashioned functional slip not to be worn on the outside. It's light under your clothing as if nothing is there, very comfortable and does the trick of blocking see thru your outter clothing! Younger generations could benefit from understanding the purpose and types of these types of accessories for modesty and it doesn't make you old or old fashioned it just gives your outfit and you some class and sophistication as no one needs to be seeing everything under your clothing.

I had discovered that--perhaps-- I had ordered the wrong size for the Underworks Nylon Maxi Length Half Slips with Snip a Length. The sizes in the drop-down size chart and the sizes listed in the description differ. Upon noticing that difference and realizing I had --depending on which info is correct-- perhaps ordered the wrong size, I immediately wrote the vendor via the Amazon (don't know what to call their system).The vendor replied super quickly and said they would fill the order with correct size apologizing for the discrepancy in info! No need to cancel the order or wait for it, return it and reorder! Item came quickly and is great..just what I need as some of my maxis are too sheer to wear to school (teacher).Well made and just as described. One of my maxis is a bit shorter than the highest "cut" so I may have to roll over the waist or just cut more and hem myself? Im just noticing how varied in lengths my maxis are! Hadn't before. I would say it runs a bit large around hips, bum depending on how slim fitting you like your slips. I'll see how it washes/dries. For me, it could be a bit slimmer, but it is not bulky or bunching/wrinkly bc of size. Lays very smoothly. It's very comfortable, not itchy or rough in seams, elastic waistband etc. I would definitely purchase from this company again due to their super responsive & helpful customer service!

VERY, VERY pleased with this black slip. Not too thick or thin, nice material that doesn't wrinkle. Doesn't bunch up at all under a dress. Fit was exactly as expected based on the size chart. Bonus is that it has lace in two places if want to cut it shorter. (I needed a long slip for a floor length dress, so didnt cut it) Double bonus is that it came quickly.

I needed something to wear under a long skirt that was too sheer, and this slip fixed the issue: no more sheerness, and the slip didn't add bulk. I had to alter it myself because the length was much too long, but I was able to do it despite my very rudimentary sewing skills. I used one of the lace pieces as a new hem, and it looks pretty decent! It is remarkable though how hard it is to find a slip that is just right. I guess people don't wear them much these days (this is my first slip since I was maybe 10 years old.)FYI this slip's sizing runs small. I am usually a Small (4-6 in dresses) but the Small was uncomfortably tight. The Medium fit perfectly though.

This slip worked perfect for what I wanted. I am 5'11 and wear mostly maxi length dresses and some skirts. It was difficult to find a slip that fully covered in my local stores. This slip is light weight and breathable fabric. I prefer the nylon over Satan slips, especially in warmer weather

I needed a longer slip, and I got it. Maybe a little too long, so I removed the lower two panels, and had to sew the side seam closed. All in all though, I am happy with this slip.

I am 5'3 and I'd say my legs are short since I'm mind of height challenged and without cutting it the dress comes to my ankles (i wear my skirts high on my waist). So for me, This works perfectly since I wear a lot of high waisted maxi skirts and sheer chiffon dresses that come with short slips. I really didnt want to spend 20 bucks on a slip. Ive been debating on buying one for months and after looking at several marshalls, targets, walmarts, and ross stores and barely finding any slips, let alone long full slips anywhere... I finally caved in and wenr for it. I'm not disappointed at all ..and now I dont have to worry about being uncomfortable in public trying to pull down my short slip every couple minutes or hoping no one noticing my see through clothes wondering if I am a harlott! Lol. I feel modest , comfortable, and cute now. Yay. Oh.. and I cut it to the shortest length, so it can come just above my ankles.

Like all the other Underworks slips I have purchased this slip fits to size (I purchased the XL) for the hip and butt size and it fits perfectly - not too tight or not too loose. However the length is made for the average height person so if you are short like me but still want that full length slip for maxi length dresses or skirts be aware that you may have to shorten it higher than the snip and slip strips that give you lace. I am very happy with the slip overall as it is just what I was looking for.

I bought two of these slips. They were expensive, but such slips are hard to find nowadays. They arrived to-day, ordered yesterday, which was very nice. But the nicest part was the length. I am just over 5 ft. 9 ins. I have to get my maxi skirts from shops specialising for tall women - which don't do underslips. The underworks slips were a perfect length for me. I can now add them to my really ancient slips that were sold to go under evening skirts. These new ones are longer. I look forward to them coming in black.

It didn't say it had a side slit on the description. Not liking the slit how it was done. The lace protrude out its not smooth. Was going to return but I'm a busy woman just have to keep it.

The size is a little more generous than had been expected, but it is comfy, and better not to be too tight. 2 safety pins will ensure that the slip does not fall down!
