I have purchased several headlamps at the $40+ dollar range for camping / outdoor activities. When my young children (3&6) started camping with us I knew it was a matter of time before they lost or broke my more expensive headlamp so I ordered up a pair of these Rayvenge 71A headlamps for them. They are super impressed and happy about the color choices. Quality is above my expectations for the price point and I really love the modes (3 brightness levels, flashing, and red night-light). My only real issue with the headlamp is that it is BRIGHT! Even on it's lowest setting it's pretty blinding at night. It would be great if you were looking for your keys in the bushes, but it's a little to high-powered for sitting around a camp fire accidentally pointing it at someones eyes. The red-light is better, but still pretty bright. I assume they will dim as the batter power drains but that hasn't happened through several hours of use. Nontheless, great product and easily rivals if not bests anything you would pay double for at REI.

This is my second headlamp I've bought from them. They're quite bright and the batteries last a good long while. As an outdoor enthusiast, I very much remember the days when a high-powered LED lamp like this would have run $50-100. It's still hard for me to believe I can get the same lamp for $10-20. I keep one in my gear and one in the car. Compact enough to be easy to store/light to wear, sometimes even forget I'm wearing it.I know there are still high powered lamps that run those high amounts, and they're likely to be a bit brighter, but I really have zero complaints about the lumens this lamp provides.

I really like this headlamp. It's lightweight. It fits well. It is low-profile. It has several modes. I use the 2nd brightest setting most of the time. I like that the lens housing swivels up and down. When I'm working on projects, it's nice to hold my head in a certain position and have the light right where I want it. It uses only 1 AA battery. That battery has lasted me since new, so far. I also bought a bunch of rechargeable AA batteries to use in the light. I will be interested to see how well the rechargeables hold up, but I think they will be fine, based on the performance of the current battery. I think I paid about $18 for it. Definitely recommended. I have 3 other headlamps, and this is my new favorite.

Plenty bright for trail hiking & reading & cooking, with several nights worth of life per battery. It's a tighter (smaller) and fainter beam than most 3xAAA headlamps; I wouldn't use it for off-trail hiking or serious labor. But for casual use it's perfect. You'll bring it everywhere because it's so tiny and so light. Being able to use a AA battery is fantastic. Haven't tested it in rain yet.

I bought this as a gift for a friend. We run often in the dark. Friend seems to really like it. It is very bright and you definitely can see where you are going. The product is well constructed. Also I noticed the battery seems to last for quite sometime. The friend uses it at least 3 times a week for about 30-45 minutes each use and after a month and half she just changed the battery. I would highly recommend this product.

I have purchased three of these. They are very comfortable and compact as a headlight. Plenty of light and the level is adjustable. In the past I had bought several small handheld flashlights which require rechargeable batteries. I realize now that if I am away from home, away from the recharger, those aren't very dependable. With this headlamp, I can pack a few A size batteries and I am set.

Picked up 2 headlamps for my wife and self on 10K night runs. Had no issues with battery life and different dim to bright and strobe settings provide lots of versatility at a great price. The light housing is also adjustable so you can direct light straight ahead of you or down towards your feet. Overall, very happy and satisfied with product.

I really like this head lamp. Nice size. I use it to read books to my little boys at night and it works well. There is a spot light in the middle and a surrounding flood light. The spot light is a little bright on pages but it has a nice adjustment mechanism to use the flood light beam to light the page. This is not the case with others I have used for this purpose and this is just such a nice size which makes it nice and comfortable. It is good and bright so when they absolutely have to have certain bear to sleep with this head lamp throws a good bright light around the room. I used it for 30 minutes every night and the battery has lasted me over a month and is still going strong.

My wife uses this whilst running at night/early winter mornings, she is very pleased with it.
