The bolts that come with these were useless
I bought these to mount a pair of small surround speakers (Klipsch Reference 5.1 Home Theatre set) but unfortunately, the bolt that come with these was too short to even react the mount hole on the back of each speaker and too thin to actually hold it. So, I had to go out and grab a few bolts that were the right length and size and my dad drilled the holes in the mounts bigger so that they could fit. Now they are holding up fine, but it was a pain in the neck.

Nicely finished, but not up to the task
On the surface this seems to be a versatile, attractive, nicely-designed mount for a pair of small speakers. The Audioengine A2+ is a very small speaker, so one would think this is an ideal mount for it. The Audioengine speakers even have a tripod mounting hole on the bottom, making attachment very simple. However, in spite of its small size, the A2 is heavy and the screws that hold this mount in a fixed position need to be tightened enough to keep the joints from slipping. However, the threaded holes are nothing more than plastic, and it's way too easy to over-tighten the set screws, stripping the threads and ruining the mount. I stopped just short of that point, but did do some damage that required extra care to prevent making it worse. The next issue is with versatility. On the plus side, there is an adapter included for attaching a tripod-mount-ready speaker such as the A2+, but the included screw is too long and there are no adjustments or washers included to compensate for this. Worse still, the angle of the stem with respect to the tripod mount is a fixed 90 degrees, making it impossible to adjust the tilt of the speaker except from the base of the mounting bracket. With a confined space available, the result was a pair of speakers that pointed downward rather than upward as desired. I ended up having to purchase a separate ball-head tripod mount, which worked quite well (see picture). Had I known just how poorly designed this speaker mount is, instead I would have purchased a camera mount in the first place.

Good product, works with many speakers
Attached these to upstairs sloped ceiling, just above projector screen on each side, in order to attach small light front speakers for bedroom projector. The speakers are logitech computer speakers, that also have a subwoofer. As they have stands, and are meant to sit on a desk, they aren't designed to attach to wall mounts. I simply used zip ties, two at front and two at back. Works great and barely noticeable.

I do not fear my $500 speakers ever falling though and would recommend this product to anyone
This stand holds my Dali Mikro speakers mounted to the ceiling. I did give it 5 stars but I cannot see it lasting a 2nd install. I do not fear my $500 speakers ever falling though and would recommend this product to anyone. This is one of those things that it over preformed for the price I could have spent 3 times this for something that can be reinstalled many times but likely these mounts will stay in place for 10 plus years.

A little Retro Required
I had to turn the assembly up side down to work on my satellite speakers. The connection (as normally assembled) was blocking my wire clip on the speaker. Other than that they work fine.

Great Product for the price!!
I bought these so I could mount 2 6.5” speakers above my hot tub on my back deck. I couldn’t be more pleased with all the different pivot features so I could have them aimed down perfectly towards my hot tub!! For the price of $11.99 I have nothing but LOVE for these.

Would be a good product if they were honest about the weight
In no realm of reality can this hold up to 7.5lbs. I thought the other reviews were just user error but to my dismay I was incorrect. If your speaker is even approaching 5 lbs I'd be wary of this. This would be a perfect solution for small satellite speakers but nothing more. Seriously, don't even bother with a big speaker.

Did the trick.
This was a great cost saving measure to mount an older Bose speaker. Not the sturdiest product out there being plastic, but if it's out of the way and not going to get bumped it will be perfect for your needs.
