NOT JALEPENO SEEDS
These are NOT jalepeno seeds. Now I've got eight of some other pepper plants growing where I'm supposed to have jalepenos. There's no heat to them and they're not even sweet; there's barely any flavor except a slightly bitter aftertaste. These are worthless to me and my salsa & cowboy candy recipes.I've lost literally months of growing time, and now I have to buy eight full-grown plants to go into the ground, at almost $10 each. This is extremely disappointing.Everyone, I highly recommend you consider carefully before purchasing these from RDR Seeds.[EDIT]: I wrote this review when I was angry, and after some emails back and forth between me and the company, I decided to tone down the review's language some. Still, it looks like I'm not the only one who has had serious problems with these seeds. It looks like a quality control problem on their end; either they package the wrong seeds into the jalepeno packets, or they allow a different variety of pepper to cross-pollinate their jalepeno plants. I don't recommend that anyone buy jalepeno seeds from this company.

Didn't have a great return this year compared to other seeds I bought last year. I planted same way as last year with same checklist and yield wasn't there from these seeds.

Not Jalapenos
I planted about 20 seeds and ended up with about 10 seedlings. 2 Made it to full grown plant (that's pretty normal).... HOWEVER, both plants are sweet peppers, NOT jalapenos.

They sprouted, but they were jalapeños.
These were not jalapeños. On the plus side 10 of the 12 seeds planted sprouted and the plants are growing vigorously with plenty thin long peppers.

Grew well, germinated quickly
I bought these for an event at my university. I planted them and almost all of them sprouted (however I didn't count, because I planted 3 per spot in a planting tray). They grew really well, and I didn't seem to have any problems with the seeds.

100% germination rate
Hot peppers are notoriously hard to germinate. I planted three seeds in rockwool and all three popped. Use a heat mat.

Growing after 2-3 weeks
Just started to sprout in my indoor planters, really high success rate on the seeds taking to regular porting soil. Guess we’ll see how well they do once they really start taking off.
