Survived its first race last night. No issues. Seems plenty strong.Update: This post is working great. I will order another when I build my next bike at the beginning of next year.

Just installed it and it fits perfectly, very tight. The tube is strong, the finish is nice and the clamp is very easy to adjust. Some people have complained about the size of the tube. The problem may be that the post clamp they are using is upside down (yes most good post clamps have a top and a bottom). The other difficulty is that they aren't using a carbon fiber bonding cream on the inside of the seat tube, which is critical when you are putting a carbon surface against metal. Otherwise the seat post will slide inside the seat tube. You can get it at any bike shop.

I receive quickly as it was a prime item and the cost is a 1/5 of what you would pay for a better know brand. Post was reasonable weight and good looking. I had issues with the camp staying tight and there was a lot of creaking as the camp loosened up. Ended up switching to a more expensive Next post and as a result not noise. Happy to have as a back up at this price, but not quite the level I needed.

Looks nice but undersized can't keep it fixed in position.

I ordered the 27.2mm diameter seat post. Upon receiving and measuring the post diameter at several points along the shaft, the actual diameter consistently measured 26.9mm. In my experience/opinion, the undersized post diameter and (attractive) glossy finish have the making for a seat post that could consistently slip. This prompted me to return the post unused.I decided to give this two stars because the item might be usable if you wanted to sand off the glossy finish and torque down your seatpost collar.One other thing I don't like about this item is that the saddle rail clamp only supports about 22mm of the rail. Every other post (cheap and expensive) I've owned has clamped much more of the rail.For the record, this item weighed 220grams.

Its a seat post. Looks beautiful have had no issues. Inexpensive upgrade if you could call it that. Only issue is that I lower my seat a lot. It does scratch the glossy finish but hey, its a mountain bike. The printed markings indicating height are coming off. I don't feel any difference in the ride.

So far so good! I have about 12 rides on this carbon post and it seems to be fine. I had concerns about the bolt/housing that clamps around the saddle at first, but found that it is reinforced with an aluminum collar beneath the carbon.I have ridden on really rough trails and the seatpost is holding up fine. The workmanship appears to be flawless and so far I am very pleased with my purchase. I only give it 4 stars because I need to put many more months and miles on the seatpost before I can rate it perfect.

Quality is nice. The saddle bracket could be a little less obnoxious to adjust. 3 stars because the diameter of the post is slightly less than advertised. I can still tighten my cycle enough to be snug, but others might not be able to. Keep the packaging just in case you need to send it back for another one.For 18$ to replace my old metal post, this is a great deal. Just be aware of the slightly smaller post diameter.
