I really liked the low cost of this. Got it 10-18 to do a little recreational indoor gardening, since I'm retired. But I forgot a couple things: I'm old, fat, stiff, can't hardly see, are top of the list. The gauge dial is pretty small, apprx 1.5" w/0.75" h. The 3 meters for moisture, light & Ph are very hard for me to read (holding it like a book), I can strain & just make out the "Dry, Dark, Alkaline, Moist, Light, Wet, & Acidic." I can only read the numbers & colors at 5-6" from my face. That touches another issue of mine, there is no "Hold" so to get the reading, I have to get down on the floor to read it while it's still in the planter. My last issue is that it is not adjustable, can't be calibrated & my needle (?) seems to be off, below zero on the light meter, below one on moisture & below eight on Ph. Plus, I need more precise readings. So there's that for your consideration. If you're young/healthy/good sight & don't require precision readings, this may be what you want/need.

Is this a joke? Put it in soil checking for everything. The needle bumps a little and essentially stays unchanged. Put it in mud, needle moved up a couple degrees, still saying dry. Cleaned it, put it in a glass of water and it still reads dry. Does it think it’s reading a dry martini? Doesn’t read pH either. Total waste of money. If I could give it zero stars I would. Negative stars? All the better. Grrrrrr.

The light meter seems to be working just fine. The ph meter and moisture meter seem to be far off. As shown in the picture, I put the probes into water and the moisture was right in the middle between dry and wet. Same with the ph meter- it never changes even when put in different soils. It was cheap for a reason...bummer!

The 3in1 meter I bought never worked. Needle stays pegged to the left indicating dry soil, basic pH of about 4, and 0 light. I can assure you none of these are correct. I've used other meters like this without issue in the past.

Works great for the price! I have been using this fairly regularly for the past few months and it is still working perfect. I keep both of the nodes cleaned off between uses and I have been testing the accuracy along side my Hanna meter and par meter, it seems to be staying true. I will probably be buying more of these

I dunno, but this might be a scam. I received one off brand meter. Definitely not Jellas, and not the same meter pictured.It worked though, I think, so there's that.

Our soil is pretty bad here in Arizona. This is to make sure I can do the best for my plants.
