It works but.....
Good news is it is nice and thick and I haven't had it tear unnecessarily. The bad news is it feels like the cheap almost plastic foil you get at big box stores and because it has that feel and texture it doesn't mold as well as the better brands. The worst news is I absolutely hate that the tear strip is on the lid instead of on the box. Every other brand of foil I've ever used has the tear strip on the box so I am constantly tugging and ripping the foil before I remember to use the lid tear strip. Highly annoying.

There's not a ton I can say about aluminum foil, but I will say that this was a great value find and so far the roll is holding up well. My main concern with buying the long rolls of foil is that if you bork the roll, you're stuck with a borked roll until the end, usually.I'm still undecided if I like having the cutting edge on the flap versus having it on the box corner. It's a little hazardous either way.

Doesn't seem like a big deal
Must Buy! It isn't listed as "heavy duty", but has substantial strength. Also, the tear bar is located on the lid, not on the bottom side of the box. Doesn't seem like a big deal, but tears so much smoother in that position. Like a sharp knife through butter!

Too thin
This product is very thin and flimsy. It is difficuto tear off a piece without it coming off jaggedly. I am not happy with it . it's competitors are producing a much stronger foil.

works greatmeasured thickness at .005 with micrometermeasured thickness of reynolds wrap foil .005 see no difference but if feels less rigid than Reynolds Wrap

Glad about Glad
At last, we have quality,ease of use,strength,no crimping,even tearing,non-sticking,oven freindly,easy clean-up for pots pans and roasters. Unless your competitors can meet the quality of Glad; there will probably be a roll in every home.

The “reinvented” packaging on this is dumb. You’ll slice your hand a dozen times before you get used to it. Product is good, and I’m a fan of raising the ease and quality of packaging when necessary. This isn’t, and goes against the grain (quite literally) if how tin foil has been packaged for decades.

Does a terrific job effertlessly
Great Foil, Best I have ever used. So strong easy to tear. Better than other brands, Will be buying this all the time.
