Almost perfect
I love this device a lot. Its literally like having an external hard drive, but smaller and more portable (I guess). Read/Write speeds are wonderful so long as you use USB 3.0 ports. My only gripe is that the device does get really hot after some time. At one point, I thought that the device was going to melt or that I would burn my hand if I held it long enough. Aside from that though, the enclosure does its job and I am happy with that.

Good
Worked very well out of the box. Perfect as an enclosure for the hard drive I just upgraded in my laptop. I replaced a 250g with a 500g. Now the 250g drive is in this enclosure and serving as a third backup other than Google and One Drive.

Great Idea no Cable required
Honestly, with my new ocmputer, I am having reliability issues but these may be due to the adapter I am using to convert to Type C

Speed
Installed a Samsung 850 Evo 1TB mSATA drive, can only achieve peak read speeds of ~2.44Gbps. Average for this chip is ~3.3Gbps.If you hate the idea of lugging around a cable, this'll do.

unstable connection
USB can't fit in and I had to move it or take out and put it again many times to be recognized by the system.
