I love the look and feel of the file. I know this going to last a long time. The case is a little cheap feeling and gold plastic was cheesy looking.There is a sound that happens when you get your nail filed with this....like ails on a chalk board. That is the ONLY thing I do not like. This is very high quality file so no need to grind hard to get the perfect edge.I love that it can be sanitzed and not losr the integrity of the grain on the file.

Not sure what grit these are, but it’s strong enough that I don’t have to spend an hour trying to file/shape my nails. My nails tend to be pretty thick and hard with a strong C-curve, and shaping or shortening them can be almost as bad as filing toes. :( The file itself is very thin, depth wise, and comes to point sharp enough to clean under my nails as well. It’s thinness means I can get it under the corners of my nails much more easily than my other, thicker file, and the smooth curved edge means I won’t slice my toes up trying to smooth those nails up either.

I like it a lot better than the sandpaper files. It leaves my nails smooth and not jagged or too thin. I was wary of using a file like this because sometimes scratching my nails on the wrong surface can make my skin crawl, but this isn't too bad. Four stars because the case is a little flimsy, but that's not a big deal to me and overall the product is definitely worth trying.

I was concerned about the quality of this since it was so cheap, but it holds up well. The case is really cheap but it looks fine. I keep it in my purse all the time and it doesn't take up any space, and it works like a champ. It has to be cleaned off pretty much every time you use it, but it stays sharp. It doesn't cause any splits in my nail or roughness. I won't ever go back to emory!

This nail file is a little disappointing because both sides are fine. Meaning you need to take time to file down a good amount of nails. But maybe it is just me. I have very strong nails that are long. People usually think they are fake because of the length and the nail polish that I use - it is all about the applying technique girls!Anyway, the two sides are in different “roughness” levels but both are kind of fine. There is not really a big difference between the sides BUT it works still very good as a nail file and you can work very precisely with it. It will just take a little longer. I think it is worth it though because the results are really not bad - speaking as a person who never just cuts her nails since over 10 years now!Hope I could answer some questions here. Good luck!

Loved the way it files. Nails have cleaner edges. The only disappointment is the file's thickness. Little to thick to get between nail n finger tip. Still, glad I purchased it.

Durable, long lasting. Thick and seems like good material. It’s just hard to get into hard to reach places, sides etc. so far I love it! And it comes in a great carrying case.

This item hasn't done well. It seemed to lose it's sharpness after a few nail filings were done.

This is such a smooth file you can run your finger over it and it just feels like frosted glass, but it really does a great job on my nails. It's quick and efficient and lasts so much longer than emery boards. A brilliant investment.
