For the money, it works well
I was looking for a low cost hive box that was serviceable but did not require or desire "super quality" and absolute perfection -- this product WORKS.

BUDGET for sure!
Fit together nicely but very easy to ding if drill slips. Also the wood splits easily when inserting screws into predrilled holes. Just using this for top feeder thru winter, otherwise not so great.

Cracked wood should have been seen by Quality Control
Material looks good and fast delivery. However there is no Quality Control done. One of the pieces came with two 3" cracks that were made where the pre-drilled holes for the nails are...

Great box for the money
Great box for the price. Joints fit well. Box is square. Wood is good quality for a budget box.

JUNK! Requested replacements as first order boxes were mid-measured- replacements the same!!!
One side of the box is 1/2 inch too tall. Does not seal so it’s useless as bees go in/out sides. Requested replacements and they too were mid cut so they are also no good? Budget? How about worthless?

Excellent Addition
The need for a second brood box is self evident. This product is well designed and with a little extra effort is easy to assemble. The cedar is quite soft and therefore screws can only be used after the holes are drilled for the screws
