This is life changing for me....and that's not an exaggeration.
For years, I have been a feeding ground for all the biting bugs and often ended up covered in itchy bumps and welts. Because we have farm acreage that has to be cut and shred, I spent most of the summer miserable and covered in ineffective DEET and then gallons of hydrocortisone cream. Bugs love to bite in the worst places. This weekend, after my pants and shirt arrived, I skipped all the insecticide and essential oils just to give this clothing a real shot at proving how good it was. Result: not a single bite even after 3+ hours outside at the farm and 1+ hour mowing high grass fields. This clothing is unbelievably effective even and a game changer for my summers. Plus it will pay for itself now that I no longer have to purchase sprays and creams. Thank you so much!

Works great, but pants only.
UPDATED: I still think that the pictures and description makes it look like you will receive the complete outfit, but I have to say that the pants do work great. If there is a mosquito or chigger within a mile, it will find me. But not with these pants. Have used several times in tall grass and the woods, and not one bite. I do find them to be hot, but I'll take being warm over being eaten up. I'm a 36 waist 32 inseam, and find that the XL is much more comfortable despite the sizing chart. You do need to be careful putting them on - I had one pair that ripped the seam. Overall, expensive but worth it.

Seam Failure Right Out of Box
UPDATE: Seam failure is, of course, getting larger. I tried to sew but I suck at that. There is another seam on the leggings that are also unraveling. See other reviews where seams are failing. I've also added a few photos. The last two photos are after two uses.I bought these (and a shirt) primarily for an upcoming canoe trip into Canada. They arrived early enough that I also wanted to wear them to explore some land that was near water, so the mosquito, etc. qualities of the product would be very much appreciated. I opened to box to try them on and noticed a seam failure before I tried them on. This was very disappointing as I know this will get worse as I wear and wash them. I did wear them on my land investigation excursion and they worked as advertised. They held up to the abuse of scraping base brush and everything else that happens when exploring land.I'm giving then only two stars as I now consider these disposable. When I washed them I put them in a mesh bag and sure enough, when they came out of the wash the seam was open even further. I can't sew. I could probably figure out how. I won't. I won't do all that because I'd rather just wear them to Canada and throw them away when I get home and never buy the product again.Letting something like this go out of the manufactured facility costs sales. My outdoors buddy asked about them and I told him all about the seam failure. Guess what he's NOT going to buy?The opening looks small in my photo. It quickly expanded upon use and wash.Could I have returned them? Probably, but I also had the opportunity to use them two days after they arrived. The seam won't completely faily until (hopefully) after my week long trip. I'll baby them. Then, as I mentioned, I'll throw them away.

I have a piece of mind wearing them
I work in a forest. I'm 5'6 and 135 ib. I own the small size leggings. They are breathable, long, can be stretched down past my ankles and onto my feet. I bought the socks anyway and wear both leggings and socks. I wear them alone or under my work pants. They are thin fabric. I don't feel hot in them. I am happy to haveca piece of mind. Last 3 words... I hate ticks.

These REALLY DO WORK!!! (mostly)
I know these pants are intended for hunting, fishing, and/or hiking, but I purchased them for gardening, and I love them!! These pants really do work! I've already tried wearing long sleeve clothing during summer (linen pants and UV protection shirt), but the mosquitos just bite me right through the clothing! These Rynoskin Pants really do protect your skin from mosquitos. I'm not sure if they work on fire ants yet, but I really do hope so. I haven't gotten stung by one through these pants yet (usually I get stung by fire ants when I'm sitting in the garden), but I will test them more to check. The mosquitos really can't figure out how to bite through these pants. I have gotten bit on my ankles or hands (unprotected skin) when wearing these pants, but these pants have really reduced the number of bites overall. Also when I wear these with crew socks and fold the crew socks over, these pants cover all of my legs, and I don't get any bites on my legs. I guess I have to give up my short ankle socks when wearing these. Also I have these pants in both a nude color Size M (which is what I thought I'd wear ~150lb female) and a white color Size XL, which happened to be on sale one day. I actually like the white XLs better. Don't get me wrong, they both "fit". The material is very stretchy, and they are both almost like leggings. The waist size on the XL is bigger than on the M. As you can see from the photo with the ruler, the XL is about 13 inches across, making these about 26" unstretched. I guess they need to be tight to keep out the mosquitos, but I prefer mine not to squeeze too much. One other thing to mention, I feel okay to wear these pants in the back yard, but if I go for a walk in the neighborhood, I feel like I need to throw a pair of shorts over them. You might also be able to get away with an extra-long shirt over top of these pants. So basically they aren't very modest. The material is a little see-through, so you can see your underwear through these (especially the white color). Maybe if I had the green or black colored pants, I might feel a *little* more comfortable. Also these do actually keep you cool. They are very breathable, and actually make you feel cooler than wearing any other pants outside (even linen). They do not trap heat and allow plenty of breeze/air flow. Great design!I paid $24.95 for the white Rynoskin pants, and my husband paid the full price of $39.95 for the nude pair (my first pair as a gift). These are worth the money at either price, but if these ever do go on sale again, I will probably pick up a couple more pairs!! :-)UPDATE:I have picked up a couple more pairs now, but not sure that I'll buy more. I now have the green color (see photos), and I do like that better for going outside without 2 layers of pants. I also purchased those in 2X just to see the difference in size. I recommend sizing up in these if possible, as the waist is very tight for the size. As you can see the Green, 2XL is 16" across, making it 32" waist (unstretched).I have been bitten through all of these Rynoskin pants both by mosquitos and fire ants. I was really hoping it would stop the fire ants, but alas it does not. I would say these pants do prevent bites, but not all. If the material is super stretched or tight to your skin, the bugs can still seem to get through. So I do think a larger size is slightly better if you are unsure. Also I don't like the new, very large "colorful" logo they started adding to the pants. I never want to be a commercial for anything. So it kind of bugs me. Don't worry, though, if you don't like it either. It seems to start peeling off after 1-2 washes.

Protects against mosquitoes
Great for people who are highly sensitive to stinging/biting insects. I literally watched mosquitoes crawling along the fabric trying to find an entry point, but couldn't. However, the fabric is incredible breathable and lightweight.

Check your knees... before you wreak your knees? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Ordered these in January, and tried them on when I got them. Seemed fine. Now it’s May, and I’m finally taking them out to use for a weekend portage trip, and I’m only now noticing the stitching is unravelling on both knees. Tried to tie the ends so it doesn’t unravel more because my return window closed in April. As for whether they protect against bugs, we’ll see. If it’s just my knees bitten, then I’ll blame the holes the bugs crawled into from the stitching :-/Not sure if the socks are supposed to be different, but I bought them a long time ago and they seem much thicker than the pants. Socks seem like 2 layers vs. 1 on the pants. You’ll need some confidence if you’re planning to wear them alone, they’re pretty see-through, FYI.

May not be as protective against mosquitoes.
I went out to trim tall grass from a wooded trail and used this product. I was wearing them under my clothing. Unfortunately, I was bitten a number of times in both arms. I noticed mosquitoes were able to bit through my top and this under skin. Hopefully they work better for tick protection.

Doesn't do what it promises!
Lies lies lies! Mosquitos ate me alive in these pants! I would have had better luck against mosquitos had I been wearing jeans. The material is pretty thin and the bottom hems aren't tight enough, so technically, a tick could crawl under. Don't waste your money, folks!

Feel very smooth - but see through
I got the green pants thinking I could wear them on their own - nope! Sending back in to exchange for tan since I will have to wear these with shorts overtop anyway.Fit wise: I wear size 29 jeans, the small fits fine. I am also tall & these do go down to the ankles. They feel very nice on, smooth & silky. Have not yet been field tested.

Waste of money
Useless. It attracted mosquitoes and then didn't protect me at all.
