New Blackberry FAN!
I was very fed up lately with Android, Apple and the pain to type in a touchscreen and have been looking for a Blackberry for a while. However, I didn't want to completely lose the touch screen luxury and I was trying to decide between Blackberry Bold 9790 and 9900! I don't know how I discovered AMAZON WAREHOUSE!!! I read review after review about products, service, etc. Although I was told by Amazon customer service that they can't give me much info about the product, I took the risk and got for 270£ a Bold 9900 'like new' condition. The price was just amazing, since I was just about to buy the 9790 for 320£!! I was sooo impatient that I ordered it Friday morning and chose 'next day' delivery (not express). The box was here before 11am which was amazing (didn't need to pay for express delivery by 1pm!)!When I opened the package the box was not in a good condition and you could see that was opened and re sealed. I open the box and saw the phone - absolutely perfect! The only thing being opened was the phone and the battery, everything else was sealed. I guess this was a return from sb who changed his/her mind and the package was not in good condition, that's why the price was that good! But I don't mind since everything works perfectly! Now about the phone...I just looove it :) The experience of the touchscreen but also the speed that you can check emails, reply to txts, check facebook and type a note is incredible. The screen and the resolution is really good and being an Android user for a while I'm so impressed about how responsive the touch screen is. I have this phone for less than 12h but I hope that it's going to last for a long time and I'm sure it's going to be the most functional phone I ever had! Now, browsing the App world, I can't see why people complaint so much...I really miss Skype but I'm sure that more and more apps will be on the way. Still a medium user like me (not a geek) will find more than enough! Also works perfectly with a 3 sim card. Definitely recommend it!

My Daughter loves the phone
Ordered the Blackberry Bold 9900 on the 17th of April. On the 18th I e-mailed the A2Zshop asking for some information but have still not received a reply. As I sent my e-mail, I received an e-mail advising that A2Zshop had dispatched my order (14:50 hrs on the 18th of April).Received delivery on the 24th of April. The Blackberry box had been put in a large plastic Royal Mail unpadded envelope. I’ve had items worth twenty pounds packaged a lot better than this – if I spend a few hundred pounds I expect a bit more care. The Royal Mail envelope showed that the item had been sent “guaranteed next day delivery” and the postmark was dated 23rd of April – not the dispatch date of 18th of April as I had been advised. If they had sent it a day earlier my teenage daughter would have had her birthday present on her birthday! The Blackberry box is scuffed and damaged on one corner - not in pristine condition - and I don’t know if this is due to rough handling by Royal Mail or if it is a returned item. The adhesive tape on the box is not up to the standard you normally find with Blackberry products and the compartments inside the box look as though they have been opened previously.Would I buy from this supplier again or recommend them to friends? Not a chance. When asked to rate the supplier I gave an abridged version of the above and received a number of e-mails from A2Zshop asking me to remove my negative comments. They are my comments based on my perception of the service I got so there is no way that I would change them.By the way, my Daughter thinks the phone is great and recommends it very highly. She feels that the mix of touchscreen and Qwerty keyboard can't be bettered.

A triumph for Blackberry
Having received the new Blackberry Bold 9900 today I am happy to report that most of the major flaws of the previous Bold family have been fixed. The web browser is snappy and responsive, the touchscreen is easy to use, fluid and a delight (no doubt because of the Snapdragon CPU). The phone is very thin for a Blackberry and the fact that it's got a touchscreen as well is particularly impressive given the brick-like feel of the Torch. The camera is a huge step forward from the camera in my old 9700, however, it still has a way to go to match up to the superior iPhone 4 camera (and most likely the iPhone 5 that is forthcoming). The major strength, as always with Blackberry, is the keyboard which is a return to form. The keyboard is the same size and feel that we had in the old Bold 9000 and it's fantastic! For Blackberry users, the Bold 9900 is amazing and represents a great deal of engineering and research by RIM to produce a phone that is functional, stylish and a joy to use. For users of iPhone and Android however, RIM has yet to make a phone which is as comprehensive or as forward thinking as iOS and Android are. RIM has a ready made consumer pool for its phones; we all love Blackberrys and I personally wouldn't move to another manufacturer. However, RIM fails to develop phones that will make users want to switch from Android or iOS and that's where the money is. It is my feeling that although the Bold 9900 is a huge step forward, anyone switching from iOS or Android will most likely miss some of the features they've come to know and love in their previous platform.I highly recommend this phone to anyone with an older Blackberry - get it and you won't look back. For iOS and Android users I'd recommend borrowing a friend's phone to test drive it first because you'll either love Blackberry or think it's antiquated and a touch passé.
