Odec 9V Li-ion Rechargeable Batteries 600mAh High Performance 6F22 PP3 Lithium-ion Batteries / Pack of 4

Bought a pack of 4 of these out of curiousity and have been testing them for while. They appear to be two Li-ion cells in series, so the fully charged voltage is just 8.4v, (same as the *nominal* voltage of a 7 cell NiMH rechargeable). The battery can't be overcharged as it safely 'open-circuits' itself from the charging source as soon as 8.4v is reached. I've re-charged them at anything up to 100mA with no temperature rise, so I guess they're going to be safe in any "PP3" charger. I've run a couple of constant current discharge tests, at 5mA and 20mA, and in each case the 'knee' of the voltage curve (where the voltage begins to collapse more rapidly) happens around 6.75 volts. For the 20.0mA test the time to 6.75v was 29hrs 30mins, indicating a useful capacity of 590mAhours, very close to the claimed 600mAhr. However, I stopped the discharge at 5.75v as it seems there was no protection to prevent deep discharge at an expected 3v per cell. So beware of leaving flat batteries in equipment, it might ruin the cells eventually.As for self discharge, I kept one of my batteries unused and uncharged. It measured 7.791v on receipt, while 77 days later it measured 7.765v, around the same nominal temp 20C. This gives a self discharge rate of about 0.125% per month which I think is some ten times better (slower) than the best of NiMHs. Hope that's helpful, the rest will depend on your application of course. One satisfied user :-)

I purchased these 9V Li-ion batteries for our Nite-Palm and Lucido Cool Lite torches. These torches have a very low lumen night light facility that is switched on 24/7.We have found that standard rechargeable 9v batteries will last for 2/3 months of continuous drain, whilst the 9v Li-ion batteries will double or treble this period, the length of time of duration is dependent on how long the other higher lumen functions of the torches are in use.We are satisfied that the superior function of these Li-ion batteries justifies the additional cost over that of standard rechargeable 9v batteries.

I purchased to go in the smoke detectors and have 2 left over as a backup for my Battery Operated Motion Activated Cat Repellent so when winter comes it will be a good test for them in the cold and I will update as Lithium-ion are better at performing in cold conditions compared to NiMH Rechargeable Batteries, when purchasing these batteries make sure your charger supports Lithium-ion Batteries.A reasonable price for 4 600m Ah Lithium-ion Batteries which are light in weight and 2 storage cases.Please click on the “Yes” button below if this review has been helpful thank you.

Excellent buy, has way more mAh than standard re-chargeable batteries. Each set comes in a plastic case, which is great. You can use the caes to transport the batteries around. This stops the ends from touching and killing the battery.

Bought pack of 4 and all worked to start with but after 6 months one battery stopped and I had only charged it twice, disappointing...........but then as you will see below The Seller contacted me as I did not know they have 24month WARRANTY and replaced them within 3 Days! Wow FANTASTIC , Thankyou.

Correct size and Battery life as advertised. Have tried a few different makes of Lithum rechargeables and these are now my go to. Come boxed too which is perfect for transporting. Can't speak to how long they'll last as I've not had them that long, but if with care you can eek a day out of Microns they're OK by me.

The batteries are robust in design and they came pre-charged, which I consider a bonus. I have them in constant use so this is actually my second purchase of this same product. They are every bit as good as several more expensive brands I can think of. I'm pleased with their performance so far. Highly recommended.
