FFF world products are generally very good and the option for smaller test sizes is really useful - just not this one !
This filament unfortunately kept blocking\jamming my extruder. I am printing with a Balco Touch ( Aldi`s poor rebadged version of the Wanhau Duplicater) with and upgraded full metal (Micro Swiss) hotend and upgraded blower assembly. FFFworld do provide Cura and Simplyfy 3D printing profiles on their web site but the profile for this filament sets the printing speed at 87.5mm/s which my machine is not capbale off which may be part of the problem. I have attempted to print at lots of different temps\settings. The first layers work fine but nozzle always blocks by about layer 5 resulting usually in having to strip down extruder\nozzle to clear filament. Simialr to PETG products I find that I need to bed level with a slightly greater clearance than normal PLA.This is a real shame because I think that FFFworld filaments are really good, particularly being able to buy reasonable size small rolls (250g) to test on good size models. Also the profiles for both Cura and S3D on the web site are really useful. I regularly use FFFworld Carbon and PETG filaments without any problems and have successfully used other wood filaments such as Futura.Update:19_04_18 I have since tried heavily reducing retraction but the filament still clogs. Due to the fact that this filament requires a printing speed of 87.5 mm/s I simply cannot recommend this particular filament to any Wahhau Duplicator I3 owner or any of the rebadged derivatives. Will definitely bin this one, life is too short.
