GARBAGE! Solar panel may be the size of a ...
GARBAGE! Solar panel may be the size of a laptop screen but it is woeful at charging! Box arrived in shiny foil bag but the box inside was wrapped in lots of parcel tape {looks like it had already been returned to seller}. The generator is a fragile unit and would not hold up to outdoor application ,the slightest drizzle would end its use. The item arrived with the radio speaker detached and loose inside which meant no radio or music from sd card. The aerial came apart when extended,then after unboxing it to take pictures for seller the radio display which had been working stopped working. The remote battery was dead and after fitting a new one wished I hadn't bothered as you have to be as close as two feet for the limited functions to work on it. The buttons for the radio and the usb ports are weak points. If I get reimbursed return cost it goes back,if not and only if I can charge it via 220v input then I might keep it for the lights they seem to be ok so don't mind giving it one star. A shame though, I really like the design and size of it especially since other units use lead acid batteries. If they made this unit more durable and with better weather resistance I'm sure it would be something every home should have,maybe a earphone jack as well unit then AVOID!
