Outdoor Freakz outdoor travel and camping stainless steel cutlery set with neoprene sleeve, 4er Set ++

I looked at several similar products before buying this, and I'm very happy with my choice. The pack with 4 different colour neoprene pouches (red, green, blue, black) means that each family member can have their own set and won't get mixed up. The colours are lovely but the blue is my favourite. I normally like black, but since the interior of many bags are black then this does tend to get camouflaged somewhat.From earlier reviews, I wasn't sure whether a metal straw would be included or not - but it was. Each neoprene pouch contained a knife, fork, dessert spoon, teaspoon, straw, and also a bottle opener on a keyring (which can be attached to the pouch zip if desired).I bought this a few months ago, and have given it a good test since then. The pouch is slim and light enough to pop in even a small handbag for work lunches, and now I always have a clean teaspoon for making a cuppa at work! I admit I originally bought this mainly for the neoprene pouches, as the padding means I don't stab myself on the fork prongs while rummaging in my bag, and the cutlery doesn't make a rattling noise as I'm walking. The metal isn't flimsy, it's just slightly smaller versions of the cutlery I'd use everyday. Much easier to eat with these than with the plastic travel cutlery sets I've tried, especially for firmer foods such as sliced carrots.I only have two slight grumbles. Firstly, when the item was delivered, I found that every item of cutlery - every knife, fork etc - was wrapped in its own little plastic bag within the neoprene pouches. I understand that this is to avoid damage during transit, but it did seem somewhat excessive given that the neoprene pouch itself should cushion the contents - it was a lot of plastic wasted.And secondly, on inspection I found two of the teaspoons had a couple of tiny blemishes on the metal bowl, about pinhead size. It didn't look like rust, and structurally it was fine (I tried scratching it with a fingernail but nothing peeled off). Since then it's been used, washed and dried repeatedly without getting worse - so I guess it was just a very small area of discolouration. Being a perfectionist of course I'd spotted this, but suspect my husband hasn't even noticed! However all the rest of the cutlery was perfect, so I didn't feel this warranted a complaint or justified a return. And of course if I was really worried about it, then I could simply replace them with a couple of 20p teaspoons from my local shop.Overall I'm really pleased with these, and have recommended them to family.

The cutlery and pouch are perfectly functional. I got them to use for school and work lunches as I'm fed up with losing cutlery from our matching set at home. The straw is a smashing addition.They perhaps don't feel as nice in your hands but otherwise I am very pleased with the set

I bought all 4 to take camping. Inside each pouch you get a knife, fork, large spoon, small spoon, bottle opener and metal straw. All excellent quality.
