Very poor
This looked like it was slightly thicker micropore, the reason I got it, however, apart from being good on sensitive skin it is just about useless due to the quality of the adhesive, which at first feels good and tacky. However, clumsily, I acquired two small gashes on my wrist when I dropped a bottle and a flying piece of glass bounced across my forearm about 5 cm above the wrist, i.e. where it is nice and even and I am a fairly smooth skinned and free of most body and all limb hair due to long term meds. Now it wasn't serious but it was a bit messy and bleeding a bit so needed treating. The gashes were too far apart to use one of the plasters I had and too close together to use two properly. However, having some pieces of padded antiseptic dressings that need micropore or similar to hold it in place I cut a couple suitably sized pieces, washed and dried the wounds and wiped them with an alcohol swab and let dry and having just received this tape I though I would try it out. I taped the two antiseptic pieces down with a piece that went all the way round the forearm, but not tightly, and overlapping about 2-3 cm.I then sat down and basically did nothing much for a few hours while I watched some DVDs and enjoyed a cuppa. After they finished on getting up to make a cuppa I noticed that the piece of overlapping the tape was lifting. I pressed it back down but it wouldn't stay so I trimmed it off. However, by the time I had finished making the cuppa, even though I had hardly used that forearm, the tape was now lifting from the skin as well. I tried to press it down but the adhesive is obviously one use and barely that. But to be fair to it, I gave it another chance and replaced the first piece with another fresh piece and this time I double wrapped it round the wrist, i.e. a complete overlap and then some. However, within a couple of hours or less, that was also lifting and continued to lift with the slightest movement of the forearm. I had ordered two rolls so just in case this was just bad luck with the first I tried the same again but with a fresh piece from the second roll this time. However, after a relatively short time, that also started lifting. So I don't know whether I was unlucky and just got two bad examples, but this is rubbish and to be avoided. I then fell back on my usual 3M micropore and even after a nights sleep it was still solidly in place when I woke up.
