These LED's arrived about 15 days after I placed the order, which was well ahead of their estimated shipping delivery date from China. All twenty LED bulbs tested good with a 12 volt car battery. They all tested good again with a small 9-volt battery, with no discernible drop in light intensity. They are small and bright, and flash rapidly from Blue to Red, almost twice per second. As others have mentioned, they are bright in an annoying, attention-getting way. I originally entertained the thought of mounting one on the dash of each of my cars to broadcast a visual indication of an alarm system, as a minor deterrent to amateur car break-in thieves. One of these LEDS mounted on a (not-included) panel next to the doors on your house would definitely give the average house thief the feeling that they are breaking into the wrong house! Unfortunately, for use on vehicles, the blue/red flashing light could be misconstrued as a person illegally modifying his or her car to imitate a law enforcement vehicle, even when parked... Since I didn't want cops knocking on my door at 3am to give me a ticket for having a blue light on a civilian vehicle, I decided to use a flashing red-only LED for this project, which was also found here on Amazon. If you need a small blue-red flashing LED indicator light that you would definitely notice and not become numb to, then this is the light you need!

I used these to make fake alarm lighting. Bright, low energy consumption.I soldered it to a standard 9v battery clip and it's been going for 4+ days on the same battery. I'll update the review with the total time it takes to wear down a 9V once my testing is done.One of the LED"s did have the colors of the leads backwards (i.e. red for negative instead of positive)

Hooked like 4 of them up to a 9v battery for alerting people to our kids power wheels at dusk... they work great!

They showed up faster than the estimate, I used them in a Proton pack I was building for Halloween. No complaints really. I would have liked the part of the wire that was already stripped to be a bit longer, but that's only because I didn't want to do it myself.

I ordered these by accident (thought it was a steady red, my bad), but they work great - apply 12V and they look just like a miniature police car flashing red and light. They are pretty cool looking, just don't know what I am going to use them for.

I use one of these on my motorhome wired straight to the hot wires under the hood. Looks like I have an alarm. It's a little bright, but it does draw attention.

Very Good. Does what it's supposed to. As a heads up it only flashed red and blue together. You cannot choose which color to flash
