Great Splitter
When I received this item first thing I did was to ohm it to see if it was sharing the same hot lead or using both. A 50 amp RV service has two hot leads. A 30 amp RV only has one. This splits the two hot leads so if you hook this up to two different 30 amp RV it will use one hot lead on each one. Just like it should. From some of the reviews I was reading it made it sound like this wasn't the case. This is great because I have a 30 amp RV but have a 50 amp service which will be great in wintertime because I will be able to run an extension cord from one side and the RV from the other an run two separate space heaters. Couldn't do that before because two heaters would trip the breaker. Was going to hand make one but the individual pieces are far more expensive than buying this item. To me it is a great value!

Heavy Duty!
This is VERY heavy duty! Usually I get low to moderate heat build up using 1500 watt electric heater ... the 30amp coach on one leg and the 1500 watt heater on the other leg there is ZERO heat build up in the cords or plug connectors. Very happy with this! Green LED is a nice touch to let you know there's power, I did not even notice that when I purchased.

You are plugging a 30amp RV into a 50amp breaker!!!!
Much better quality than expected. It seems to be heavy duty and durable. Just remember that a 50amp circuit means 50amps per leg. So there are 50 amps potentially going to your 30amp plug on one of the legs. A 30amp RV outlet provides 30amps. a 50amp RV outlet provides up to 100amps. 50 amps per leg.50amp outlet has 2x50amp wires, one neutral and one ground. A 30amp outlet has 1x30amp wire, one neutral and one ground. Again, please remember you are basically plugging your 30amp RV into 50amp breaker. Plugging 2 RVs ins will provide 50amps to EACH RV. To make it correct, you need to swap out the dual 50amp breaker and put in a dual 30amp breaker..

Perfect fit for converting 50 amp into two 30 amp connectors
I have an RV and a Truck Camper and one 50 amp outlet. This works perfect to charge both. I really only need to plug in the same time when I am charging or using an AC unit so not very often. This solved the problem of plugging in and unplugging when I need both.I wish there was a cap or cover for one of the 30 amp plugs so I don't have to worry about rain if I unplug one side.Good stuff.

Splitter worked great!
I have a 50amp RV outlet that I normally only use for my 50amp motorhome. I had a buddy come visit with his 50 amp motorhome. We connected the splitter to the outlet, then each had to use a dog bone adapter so each motorhome 50 amp power cord could connect to the 30 amp part of the splitter. We knew to watch our power usage each. We ran water heaters & refrigerators on propane and only 1 AC each. We typically pulled about 18 amps each except for when one of us ran a microwave we jumped up to 30 amps. Being in Florida in June, it did get a little warm during the later afternoon inside the RV, but barely over 80 degrees. Worked well in the evening, night, and morning times to provide sufficient power to both RVs. Highly recommend.

Saved the day...
My brother in law was coming up to visit. I only have a 50a receptacle on our RV power post. I bought this and he was able to power his TT and we were able to keep an AC running in our class A. Seems well built. Didn’t heat up when using. Easy plug and unplug. We carry it with us now in case the need for 2 connections arises while traveling. Yep, I would recommend it.

RV Power Cord
Some f the older rigs were not equipped to run a lot of electrical things at the same time like an hair dryer with a/c and microwave onto while drying hair andbreakers would throw .This is perfect for an additional juice source as long as you use a heavy duty extension cord to this plug.

Cord as described ... no issues
The cord worked as described and was used for our travel trailer to connect our 30 to 50 amp for the plug in on our property. No issues with it at all.
