I thought these would be actual bells, that would ring whenever they moved (having a piece inside the bell to hit against itself). Instead these bells are empty and are supposed to hit the ball next to the bell. I guess it might work - if a gale came through our neighborhood. As it is, these make little to no noise and I can't even hear them sitting right next to them on my porch. They do look fairly nice, but I care far more for how they sound. Definitely disappointed in these!

I had to look back on my order history to figure out when I bought these and was so displeased to discover that they're only 2 years old! Hung under our breezeway, they really never chimed like I thought they would. BUT --The worst part: they are completely rusted. COMPLETELY. The exterior of the bells can be cleaned somewhat, but the inside of the bells are entirely covered with rust.I have at least 8 other wind chimes in my back yard and patio area; most of these are at least 5 years old (some are twice that age) and still look and sound great. NOT THIS ONE.If you're looking for a nice wind chime that will give you years of enjoyment, this one is NOT it.

So many windchimes simply clang, and drive you and/or your neighbors crazy on a blustery day. These little chimes are not only beautifully decorative, but they sing ever so softly...no matter how hard the wind blows. Great choice as a yard/garden decoration for yourself, a friend, or a loved one.

Really very pretty...nice colors...VERY PLASTIC (looking?) with VERY little chime. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I have MANY Woodstock chimes and this is, by far, a huge disappointment.Next purchase, I will certainly go to a local retailer for any Woodstock chime that I have not personally seen.

Bells are so beautiful. Reviews were very helpful to know they don't ring much. Useful for me living in an apartment. They do, however, turn in the wind. And the moonlight is wonderful to reflect on the bell tops. I took note of the maintenance instructions in the packet to keep the parts in good condition for as long as possible. My one but, however, is that the string seems thin. I have wondered how this will hold up through any harsh winter weather. Even if they only last a few years, that will be fine for me. My most favorite chimes of all time. And a great price on Amazon.

I purchased this windchime to hang outside next to the house. I like the look and design of these. I was slightly disappointed, as I thought they were silver, not black, but they are still attractive. I'm also slightly disappointed in their sound, but for the reasonable price, I'm not sorry I ordered them.

I looked at these in a local retailer garden center I want to spend the $50 price tag. So a year later I found them on Amazon, love the sound.

These are beautiful to look at and make a lovely sound. My mother has had a sudden decline mentally and she lives watching the sun make prisms in the wall through the multi colored crystals.

Exactly as described, work perfectly. Arrived in good time for wrapping as a present.
