ZmoonZM201 Professional OBD2 Scanner Diagnostic Tool, Enhanced Check Engine Code Reader with Reset OBDII/EOBD Car Diagnostic Scan Tools for All Vehicles After 1996, 2025 Upgraded

I purchased this OBD2 code reader because my old one stopped working, I like that you can save and print out a report of the codes, I have not done that yet. It’s good quality and easy to use. I was able to find the exact problem when my check engine light came on. It has many functions and you can view the live status of your engine in real time. I am definitely glad I upgraded to this 2025 version, instructions were clear, and you don’t have to be “tech savvy” to read it. Hopefully I will not need to use it much, but I feel prepared for the next check engine light that comes on with this tool.

This machine really is helpful. Easy to follow. It told me the problems on my car with the codes. Of which I looked up on Google for more details about the same codes it gave me. Then I was able to clear the engine code. I did noticed that you have to turn the car to on position to erase the code. It wouldn't work trying to clear the code while the car was running.

I bought the Zmoon OBD2 reader to check if my sensors were ready for emissions testing after the battery died in my Corvette during winter storage and cleared all the sensors. My old reader quit working or getting errors connecting to the car. This unit is enhanced and offers more scanning features that I can't use on my current car. It shows the code and details. The check engine light can be cleared (bad thermostat) but not the permanent code. The local auto parts store will scan your car for free, but they are reluctant on resetting the codes. I like the convenience of owning my own reader.

this is great scanner but was hopping it was gonna tell my srs light code but just for check engine code. still a good product to have
