Berlitz: Danish Phrase Book & Dictionary (Berlitz Phrasebooks)

You couldn't ask for anything more in a phrasebook - it covers every area you'd want it to, and is clearly and helpfully laid out. But everyone in Denmark speaks excellent English, which they'll switch to the moment you say hello. So even if you wanted to try a few Danish phrases it's virtually impossible to. But if you run into the elusive Dane who doesn't speak English, this would be the ideal book to have!

Awww, so why no CD to try and learn the language? (..Cos they don't do one, just the book)There's one for Sweden and Norway... Want to learn, so only 4 Stars cos of this.Norway's and Sweden's books are great!Need checking out!

Loads of basic and useful phrases, preferably used with Google Translate voice module since Danish language has tricky pronunciation.

This is a lovely little book in small format, the print is clear and excellent, and the paper quality is great, really happy with this purchase.

very helpful guide to Danish and pocket size to boot. I have also purchased " the Berlitz Hungarian phrasebook" These really are useful.
