Rainforest Cages St Lucia Tall Cage for Small Bird

Answering prior queries, Front & rear bars are vertical while the sides are horizontal.Very good value for money & quick delivery. A little 'lightweight' but it's for Budgies & Canaries, not an Eagle. Assembly was 'easy' until realising that the little tabs [around the middle] go Inside, not outside so, a partial re-assembly later [ the second one would be Very easy ]. To strengthen the whole thing, I added [black] cable ties (8) to secure the roof-to-top and top-to-middle (supplimenting the thin little tabs). Clipped-off they're unobtrusive and add a rigidity previously lacking. ( Well worth adding into the 'kit' as a 10p accessory.)The Base-level doesn't aid the retention of feathers & seed husks [ mucky little b@ger ] a deeper base tray should be an option or another accessory could be a skirt or, a Polycarbon 'basement' [ of solid walls], (which I've self assembled) - It will add 6" to the height of the cage and take "6ft" of seed off the floor !The Swing-perch included - don't bother with the silver hook supplied - it allows it to swing too far and 'bang the walls' - Open the top hook by 1/16" and hang it laterally on the top centre wire - It Looks better too, as the perch then faces the front.Perches are suitable for Cockateels but need replacing with a smaller diameter for Budgies. The end-cuts are far too wide anyway which makes them too loose-a-fit & they need to be cross-cut to ensure a good fit. [ Make good paint stirers though ].Would I buy it again ? - Yes { but Not necessarily the Budgie }

Beautiful roomy cage. Although the base seems like it could do with being made from stronger material considering the weight of the cage. Despite being bubble-wrapped, a corner of the base had chipped off during transit. It didn't affect the functionality of the cage so I didn't report it. The number of smaller access hatches on the front of the cage seems excessive, I am having to use lots of clips to prevent escape!

Very good cage

Cage just arrived and I have one very happy budgie,,,, just a couple of moans black cage and they have a white tray judt dos'nt look right but I have sorted that out ,,,, also perches don't fit so I have to get new ones ,,,, overall lovely cage .

I love the cage but the only downfall would be the sticks, they don't fit the cage properly, the length is fine but where they cut the grooves it was a bit too deep and now they just slide off - I had to buy new ones what a waste of wood but other than that the cage is perfect and the bird seems to be fine there - plenty of room.

Such great value for money. I love the easy access through the large doors. I have two budgies who really enjoy it!

its beautiful and easy to put together, and i may get another one from this seller because i love my birds new cage and he look posh now...;)
